This will of course conclude season 1 of The Happy Raccoon Podcast. It has been an awesome 6 months getting to interview many amazing people, and sharing my heart each week. I will be taking a month or so off to regroup, and catch up!

Since the release of Luca, many have been outraged. I have personally seen and heard many conservatives and Christians voice concern and anger that this movie’s plot is intended to symbolize a “gay person’s” journey.

First of all, it’s not. Secondly, it shouldn’t matter.

Here are some fun facts about this very strange holiday...

Many believe that Saint Patrick was born in Britain, not Ireland.

The first Saint Patrick's Day Parade was celebrated in the United States of America.

Leprechauns are based on Celtic fairies. Leprechaun means "Small-Bodied Fellow" and they believed the Leprechaun was a cranky fairy.

The fact that Saint Patrick's Day is celebrated by drinking and dressing in green is very funny to say the least.
