A Public Service message from the Nosara Bomberos (Firefighters).
As a result of the increase in vehicle accidents, we call on the Community of Nosara and its surroundings; to prevention and self-care, respecting your life and the lives of others.
For this, we provide the following recommendations:

- Respect the speed
- Wear a seat belt
- Wear a helmet when driving a motorcycle.
- Overtaking or streaking with responsibility.
- If you are going to drink, don't drive.
- Caution with animals on the road.
- Do not park your vehicle in places that make passage difficult and force other vehicles to overtake or lane.

As Nosara Firefighters, we reiterate our commitment to come to the aid of the Community and be willing and alert 24/7 to attend to their emergencies and requirements. But prevention and respect for all members of the Community is everyone's task.

Nosara is the largest revenue source for the Canton of Nicoya, providing $10,000,000 through property taxes, business licenses and construction permits.

This year, LESS THAN FIVE PERCENT of the money that Nosara sent to Nicoya came back to our District.

The Canton's lack of investment in Nosara has resulted in inadequate resources, despite the wealth generated here.

The Nosara community needs to consider its water use. We on average exceed the national allowance by 180 liters per day per person. Our situation is critical and it is not as easy as blaming building permits, construction or the ASADA. If we reduce our use, it will ease the pressure we are currently experiencing.

At the monthly vaccination campaign, which was held at Agroveterinaria Nosara SA, 75 dogs and cats received their vaccines and will be coming soon for their next shot. The goal is to provide as many vaccines as possible to dogs and cats that live among our community in order to prevent the spreading of contagious and lethal diseases.
