Looking forward to 2050, Gen Z-ers characterized future CEOs as strong leaders, excellent communicators, and data-driven decision makers.

Today the biggest change in HR is not just the role of technology, it’s the need to focus on “Experience Design” in our work. We can no longer think of HR as a function that creates “programs” that people adopt and use. We have to design and deliver “experiences,” just like we do for customers. And this new idea changes the way HR must be organized, the way HR teams design solutions, and the need for HR to be more of an ongoing, iterative, design and delivery operation. - Josh Bersin

Before 2018 ends, companies should be reminded to better be smart and do competitive benchmarking prior to deciding on salary increases and TET bonuses.

"Twenty-seven percent of Vietnamese employees say they will quit early next year if their Tet bonuses aren’t good enough.

Tet, Vietnam’s largest holiday, falls from February 2-9 next year. Over half, or 55 percent, of employees said they would join other colleagues in demanding that employers increase their bonuses if the amount did not meet their expectations." - VietnamWorks survey

Vietnam ranks 2nd among countries in Asia Pacific region forecasted to have the highest salary increases for 2019.

Vietnam ranks 2nd among countries in Asia Pacific region forecasted to have the highest salary increases for 2019.

The highest regional salary increases are forecast for Bangladesh (10%), India (9.2%) and Vietnam (9.8%). See where Singapore and Malaysia stand.
