Picture this-myself, age 11 or 12, clutching a magazine devoted to mid-'90s milk-caps-meets-marbles fad POGs with early-'90s human fad Macaulay Culkin's latest film The Pagemaster gracing the front cover in all its somewhat blurred-yet-blindingly glossy glory.  Peering through the thick,

‘Twas about time we brought this site into the wonderful world of social media! Back To The Features began in early 2016 as the brainchild of Mike DeAngelo & myself-we're both film buffs who have since gone on to write for FandomWire but still contribute to our beloved site from time to time. Ahoy!

I suppose we need to introduce ourselves. We're Mike & Brian. We're grown-ass men who like movies...probably a little too much. We're going to use this site as an outlet to discuss and review movies, because, let's face it, that's all we really talk to anyone about anyway.

How will we differ from the one million other movie blogs clogging up the internet with their collective eye rolling? Well, for one thing, a lot of the sites we visit have fairly lifeless and humorless reviews that mostly just recount the plot. We live for a good flick, so hopefully our reviews will attempt to inject some passion, humor, oxford commas, and heart into the process while being short, sweet, and to the point (In short, no two page plot overviews followed by a short paragraph saying, "It was OK, I guess....ugh.") We're also musicians, so we'll be throwing out music recommendations here and there, too....because, why not?

Feel free to participate in our discussions via the comments section - or judge away in silence....MOM!

Smooches,
