This week's : The saying is true... LESS IS MORE. This includes the number of fonts used for your graphics created to promote your , , , etc. Keep things & ensure fonts align with the overall feel/theme.

Great example for using images (videos & music as well) correctly, with permission and/or purchased legally. This happens in every line of business and people do get caught! ALL THE TIME!! This example is of a major brand doing what unfortunately many do... use actors to promote their products (in our world books) without permission. Lawsuits do happen!! Don't think that because you as an individual author, narrator or business that provides services to authors and/or narrators will not be 'noticed' by the actors, models, photographers, or brand, etc. that you're illegally using the image of. Be SMART! Purchase your stock images (& videos & music) legally. It doesn't matter if your book cover is photoshopped onto Henry Cavill's hand or if David James Gandy in underwear is on your swag or utilized on a graphic for an upcoming release... What you're showing us is that you're okay with using images illegally vs telling us about your book!

BUSINESS TIPS: It doesn't matter if you're using images (same for videos/music) for SM profile headers or in FB groups, email, etc., if they are not purchased it's STEALING! Ensure those you hire know about copyrights & properly purchase them for use.

Sadly this keeps happening! Especially recently, seen several samples of people removing watermarks from stock sites images using the downloaded 'preview' image & then use to create the graphics for other people/clients. There are several tells yet people think we won't notice.
