It's crazy to think if my pops was still alive he'd be turning 70 today.. Not a day goes by where I don't miss him. I'm so grateful to have had such an amazing father who taught me so much and continues to teach me 13 years after his passing to the other side.
Happy birthday Papa 💓

One story I'd love to share to keep his memory alive that I remember so vividly was back in 2006 when we lived in Cairo, Egypt. He took me out to the white desert for our birthday (7,17).
We went for over a week and we camped out beneath the stars during meteor showers where the sky dripped with shooting stars all around us for miles & miles. I remember his dark green H3 cruisin' through the dunes & bumpin' tunes (specifically the Dare / Gorillaz Album) one of these meteor nights we decided not to set up tent and just sleep on the air mattress. We stayed up all night talking about life and our dreams. I fell asleep and my dad told me a baby dessert fox came and slept by my feet... I didn't believe him till I saw some fur on the covers and paw prints leading up to my where my feet were... 🤣
He was so much fun, great taste in music, vivid story teller an amazing man, brother, friend & father. I feel so fortunate to have gotten to be around him for 16 years. I'll continue to pass down & share all the love, loyalty, protection, laughter & adventure you shared with me ✨️ Grateful I get to spend your birthday in Brazil with family
