The second Sunday in December at 7 pm is the worldwide candle lighting for all parents who have a child or children in spirit. I will light 5 candles in honor of Jordan ❤️

First Candle: The first candle represents our Grief. We honor the grief that signifies you have left your physical body. We confront our grief as we know it has come to help us grow. And we comfort one another through the darkness that your physical absence brings. We are, however, aware of your light and we pledge to continually reaching for this light of who you are now.❤️

Second Candle: This candle represents our Healing. We stand in our truth that you are here with us in spirit. Guiding us. Helping us grow. That you are always near, and your passing will never be in vain. We will honor you in all ways, to keep your spirit and our memory of you and your life alive.❤️

Third Candle: This candle represents our Unity. The knowing that spirit to spirit we are infinitely connected. We are constantly intertwined, and you are always available in a new way. I had the opportunity to be in DC this past weekend...

Thank you to ALL of the coordinators and organizations for their tireless efforts in raising awareness and educating us about the urgent need for positive changes in America to combat the devastating Opioid and Fentanyl crisis. Your work is instrumental in addressing this pressing issue, which has tragically claimed countless lives in our country.

Despite the heavy rain and strong winds in DC last Saturday, the unwavering dedication of parents who have lost their children and all the relatives who have lost their loved ones in this battle did not falter. Their relentless efforts in the face of adversity are truly commendable and serve as a powerful reminder of the strength of the human spirit.

It's undeniably heart-wrenching to see the pain in people's eyes and hear the desperate calls for government action to put an end to a crisis that is disproportionately affecting our young adults and children. The mass destruction caused by this crisis is a growing concern that touches the lives of everyone in our country, either directly or indirectly. It's high time we collectively say, "Enough is Enough" and join the fight to bring about positive change.

This is the most informative & transparent article that I’ve ever seen from The Charlotte Observer … so sad about another young man’s death from fentanyl poisoning that is rampant in every school & community across the USA … this community is outside of Charlotte in the Lake Norman area ….
