Merry Christmas from Tampa’s UGC girlies 🎄
Let’s talk about Q5👇
Q5 is commonly used to refer to the fifth quarter in a business or organizational context. It’s a metaphorical term and doesn’t literally mean a “fifth quarter,” since a year only has four quarters.
Instead, Q5 is often used to describe:
1. Post-Q4: The time after the 4th quarter where companies reflect on the past year, plan for the next, and often focus on less-urgent projects or personal growth.
2. Creative Planning: For marketing or advertising, Q5 refers to the post-holiday season when advertising costs typically drop, providing an opportunity for campaigns to run cost-effectively.
3. Personal Growth or Goal Setting: In a non-business sense, it can symbolize a time of reflection or a “bonus period” to work on personal goals.
How can UGC Creators benefit?
1. Budget renewals: brands are restarting their marketing budget
2. Lower competition: many creators take time off. Not that you have to work, but there is some opportunity here!
3. Using this quieter period to refresh your portfolio for the new year
4. Getting ahead of new year trends
5. Get ahead of brands marketing plans by pitching now for the upcoming year
