Ep 3 of season 6 posted last week- a conversation with Bluffton University professor Marathana Prothro on the Enneagram! This ep veers a bit away from our usual subject matter but we hope you enjoy. We give a brief overview of the types before diving into the purpose of the enneagram, benefits of knowing your type, and much more. We’d love to hear your thoughts and questions on the Ennegaram! Give us an excuse to revisit this topic again in a future season 😀

As is apparently now typical, we are a bit delayed in telling you about it on socials, but our latest episode came out a couple weeks ago!

It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to get to talk to author Sofia Samatar about her latest book, The White Mosque, which is part memoir of her experiences as a Mennonite, part travel log sharing her journey through Ukraine to learn about the Ak Metchet Mennonites, part historical tendrils and fascinating tangents.

Our latest episode came out last week, but we hope you're behind, because we accidentally posted the wrong file! 😳

Apologies to anyone who listed to the MennoBrarains Un-Edited and thanks to those who alerted us. We've re-published the episode so that the correct one is now available.

In this ep we cover the movie S*x Drive, available to watch on Peacock. We chat road trips, Amish mechanics, cringey teen relationships and more.

Whew, we have been extra bad at social media during Season 5! Since our last post there have been 2 new episodes, one covering Amish episodes of Law & Order SVU and X-Files, and another a conversation with Mennonite historian John D Roth on his most recent book, A Mennonite College for Everyone(?).

While the book, and a lot of our conversation, focuses on Goshen College, we hope you will all tune in for this chat on inclusion, diversity, the myth of Mennonite exceptionalism, and what it means to be Mennonite or a Mennonite institution.
