The Khojaly genocide, one of the gravest crimes against humanity, will be forever etched in our minds as the bloodiest in history.

On 26th of February 1992, armenian forces together with 366th CIS regiment had commited genocide by killing Azerbaijani civilians in the town of Khojaly. As a result, 613 civilians were killed including 106 women and 63 children. We believe one day justice will prevail!

🇮🇷🇦🇿 Today at around 8:30 a.m. there was an armed attack on the embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran. The attacker or perpetrators are said to be armed with automatic weapons. As a result, one employee of the embassy's security was killed and one person was injured.

According to information obtained through diplomatic channels, the attacker was detained.

God bless Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanis all over the world!

🇦🇿 Azerbaijani embassy in the UK was attacked by a radical religious group.

Eight men have been arrested after a gang of protesters stormed the Azerbaijani embassy in London.

Footage on social media showed men waving flags from the balcony and the Azerbaijani flag was taken down.

🚀TEKNOFEST 2022 has started!

Teknofest is Turkey’s largest aerospace and technology festival. The goal is to popularize areas such as aviation, space industry and digital economy. Selcuk Bayraktar, the chair of the event’s organizer told reporters that they decided to organize Teknofest in Azerbaijan to strengthen the cooperation between Ankara and Baku and develop critical technologies.

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟯𝟭 -𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗶𝗷𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀.

One of the bloodiest episodes of this genocide took place in Guba. Guba genocide mass grave was discovered during excavation works in 2007.
The Memorial Complex has been erected in memory of tens of thousands of victims as a result of massacres committed by Bolshevik-Armenian armed groups.The sharp angles of the monument express the severity of the suffering. Their way to the surface from under the ground symbolizes the impossibility of hiding the truth.

The Khojaly Massacre is a scar on the map of modern history. From the snowy evening of February 25 through the frosty night of February 26, 1992, over 600 unarmed Azerbaijani civilians and residents of Khojaly were murdered by Armenian armed forces supported by the 366th infantry regiment of Soviet troops. During this attack, 613 people were killed, and 487 seriously disabled. Over 300 of those killed were children, women and the elderly. Those who escaped crossed the mountains on foot and many fell prey to their wounds or the cold.

❗️The perpetrators of the Khojaly Massacre still have not been brought to justice.

The act of terrorism committed by military machine of the former Soviet Union against the people of Azerbaijan, will always remain as a black page in the history of civilization, and as one of the worst crimes against humanity.

🎼 National Music Day in Azerbaijan is celebrated on 18th of September each year. The music feast marks the birthday of the outstanding composer, founder of Azerbaijani professional musical art and opera, Uzeyir Hajibeyov.
Uzeyir Hajibeyov composed the music of the national anthem and he was the first composer of an opera in the East.

✈️ A major event has taken place today at the Fuzuli International Airport. Airbus A340-500 landed at the first airport of liberated Karabakh.
Fuzuli International Airport is the first airport built in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan. It was built within just 8 months. Two more international airports (in liberated Lachin and Zangilan) will also be built within the next two years.

🇦🇿 103 years have passed since the establishment of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

After the foundation of the Azerbaijani Democratic Republic in 1918, the country started the creation of the national army to protect the borders of the young state.

Hence, the army is the backbone of our statehood, security, and stability.

We congratulate our servicemen and wish them success in their honorable work!
