2 Alarm Fire 7/3/22 6600 block of Topper Ridge. Over 30 units responded. Fire took several hours to get under control due to many obstacles inside the building. No injuries were reported. (short edit).

46 People confirmed deceased. 16 people transported to local hospitals in San Antonio 4 of which are minors. Over 60 people (men and women) were found in the back of an 18-wheeler Trailer in the 9600 block of Quintana Rd around 5:50 pm on 6/27/22. SAPD turned over the investigation to Homeland Security. 3 People are in custody but it's unknown what connection they have to this incident.

(Update: 53 deceased and the driver of the truck is confirmed to be in custody)

One woman is deceased and another man is taken to the hospital in critical condition after a fire tears through their home. Three animals also lost their lives in the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation. FireFighters were able to quickly get the fire under control.

A homeless man accidently catches a abandon home on fire. The man told fire investigators he started a small fire to stay warm, he fell asleep and when he woke up the home was fully involved. Damages are estimated at $50,000 dollars. No injuries reported.

A man dies after slamming his motorcycle into the back of a roadside emergency vehicle. Police believe intoxication may have been a factor in the crash. No other injuries were reported. Traffic investigation Division (TID) is currently investigation the incident.

A man was found shot twice at an apartment complex on the city's south side. The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Police say they found a gun and a bloody apartment nearby. The victim is not cooperating with police.

A man was pulled from his car after he crashed through a bus stop and fence. Luckily no one was seriously hurt. FireFighters pulled the man out and transported him to the hospital. The incident is under investigation.

SAPD investigating Catalytic Converter theft at a CarMax Dealership in North San Antonio. Two people have been detained for questioning. two other individuals got away. Police found 3 converters and tools in the bushes on site.
