Hi Everyone, I was fortunate to have an incredible conversation with an incredible person last night. I am hoping to get this episode/story published tomorrow morning.

This individual was rescued on their 9th day lost in the wilderness. Nothing I can say here would be appropriate for the personal nature of this experience. Just recorded episode 1 with Dr. Scott Hammond, a search and rescue expert. Words cannot properly capture how amazing this conversation was nor how great a man he is.

I am hoping to edit tonight and get the episode out ASAP!

Episode announcement!

Just scheduled the first episode recording session for this Monday! Look for the episode to release sometime next week!

Just got a gift in the mail! This is one of the first guests we get to look forward to.

Dr. Hammond is a SAR K9 handler with over 400 call-outs under his belt. He is also an editor for the International Journal of Search and Rescue, amongst many other things.

I’m looking forward to this book and conversation!

What a difference a few hours makes! We now have 6 folks committed to coming on the show! Hopefully recording will start next week!

Without naming names we will be hearing from folks with experiences of a few hours, an overnighter, a few days, over a week, and a SAR member who has been on over 400 missions.

I am incredibly excited for this new journey!

Just got the 5th guest lined up to come on the show, one more and I will start recording, editing, and publishing! I’m hoping for one more week and then we’ll get started!

Also note the name change to Stories of Survival Podcast. This name is less clogged in the podcasting apps, and I can call it the SOS podcast and that just seems right!
