The other day I caught a post from someone asking if 15 ads in an ad set was too much because her ads weren’t really working.

Now, there could be loads of reasons why your ads aren’t “working”, but 15 ads in 1 ad set is way too much.

My recommendation is no more than 5 ads per ad set, but I find 3 to work the best.

Doing this gives Facebook some wiggle room to switch between ads based on performance without spreading the budget too thin.

5 years with a place that I thought was my forever job.

Turned out it wasn’t.

I was let-go (in an email from the office manager) after requesting a well deserved and well justified raise.

It was pretty hurtful. Was I really that undervalued?

That’s when I realized I could no longer rely on other people to make money.

I had to do it on my own.

It doesn't matter what your current circumstance is - if you’re still in the 9-5 grind or building a booming biz of your own - you deserve to be valued. You deserve to make the money you dream of and are capable of.

Happy 2024 friends! I’ve had some lovely holiday time off. It’s been great just spending more time with family. And I’ve had some time to think.

Of course, I’ve thought about all the things I want to give up this year, but I’ve also thought about all the things I don’t want to give up this year.

My running routine being one of them.

I love running. And I kind of got away from it after I had my daughter a year and a 1/2 ago. My husband always says running is a punishment, lol, but I disagree. Running is my mental "escape" that helps me stay centered and focused.

So the 1 thing I'm not giving up this year is running. I actually want to do more of it then ever!

One of the reasons Facebook ads are so great is because they make it REALLY easy for people to find you.

Yes, there is a lot of competition out there, but there are still tons of people looking for exactly what YOU help with right at this very moment.

I’ve been reading a lot of romantic fantasy type novels lately, and there is one thing I’ve noticed….

That they all have a lot of similarities, but at the same time are all very different.

I didn’t stop reading these types of books because they’re “all the same”.

Even with so many similarities they are very different in their own ways.

And it very much reminded how the of the online business space is.

Taking the health industry as an example, think of how many programs are out there to help people lose weight?

But it doesn’t matter because people keep trying different programs and stick with the one that resonates with them. And that program could be yours!

My point is this… YOU are unique. And the way you help people is unique. It doesn’t matter how many health businesses are out there because people will gravitate towards that uniqueness.

Keep getting out there. There are plenty of people who want and need exactly what you have to offer 💚

I love kickboxing.

So why the heck am I telling you this?

Because I don’t have the time or patience to search Google for who knows how long to find online kickboxing programs I might like.

So when an ad for one pops up in my Facebook feed, I’m all over it like white on rice (I actually prefer brown but you get my point 😆).

There are LOADS of other people that feel the exact same way. They WANT you to put your program in front of them. It makes it easy for them and saves them time.

1. BUILD 💪 - Build your email list all day, every day using Facebook lead ads. This way you have a constant instream of new people being exposed to your offers AND you are growing your warm audience on social, which means a bigger audience to retarget with your paid offers $$

2. NURTURE 🌱 - So many people skip this type of campaign and it's so important! A nurture campaign is designed to provide valuable information to build that know, like, and trust factor among your warm audience. You are most likely organically posting some incredibly valuable content every day on social, but how many people are seeing it? Turn those posts with the most engagement into a nurture campaign.

3. SELL 🙌 - Ads that promote your paid offer are called retargeting ads. These ads run to your warm audience so that your offer is always in front of them. The more they see your offer, the more likely they are to buy! Woo hoo!!

Running all 3 of these campaigns together really is the best way to connect with your ideal clients and then turn them into buyers.

Being in the health + wellness space, you have a beautiful gift to share - get it in front of the people who are looking for it RIGHT NOW!

When it comes to Facebook ads it's always important to test, test, and then test some more to find out what works best for your audience, but after running tons of ads, I do see some trends pop up across the board 😉

Shorter copy tends to work better for cold audiences. They don't know you yet, so they just want you to cut to the chase - in other words, what do you have and how can it help them. The End.

I like to use this format as a starting point:
Attention grabbing headline
Offer link
Short description about your offer and the benefits
Call to action
Offer link

Longer copy tends to work well for warmer audiences, or the people that have already been exposed to your brand in some way. They want to know more about you and what you have to offer. Plus, it's always best to nurture your warm audience with more content 😊

Ok, I’m exaggerating. Facebook wasn’t even around in 1999. But my point is targeting has changed. Facebook is favoring broader audiences and relying more heavily on your ad creative to find the best people for your offer. Are you up to speed?

Cost per lead not where you’d hope? Your ad may just need more time. A few days later this ad dropped to $5.45 per lead. Day to day numbers will fluctuate but if the cost is trending down overall, give your ads more time 😎
