These women are only a few among the countless others whose lives were unjustly stolen by a world that too often turns a blind eye to the violence women face daily.
Violence against women is not rare, it is pervasive. Every day, women across the world face abuse, assault, and the threat of death. These deaths are part of a much larger epidemic, one that exists in our homes, our streets, and our institutions.
We are grieving, but more than that, we are outraged. We cannot afford to remain silent. This is a crisis, and we must act now. Every woman, every girl deserves the right to live in safety, to pursue her dreams and walk freely without fear.
