Somebody’s cold one, is giving me chills
If Nevermind was the call of the loser, the Blue Album was the call of the nerd. An album about factory workers, dungeons and dragons, sh*tty step-dads and hiding with Alice Cooper in the garage- not even the perfect content can compete with one of the best produced albums ever created. Good job and thanks, Ric and Rivers.
Coming Monday- did any of us give it a 10 out of 10? I mean, you just read the writeup. So… yeah.

When and I decided we were going to team up for this year, we planned on an angle from the pod. A way to concentrate on the festival itself, which concentrates on the city. What we failed to realize was that the reason it all works is because of the bands and who they are as people. Talent + humble + bands you want to get a beer with = Treefort.

Just before being a teenager, I have pictures in my memory of specific cds just sitting on the cd player shelf because they were played all the time. Core. Dirt. Nevermind. Road Apples. American Thighs was one of them. Many articles call this the forgotten album of ‘94. Well I sure as sh*t never forgot it. Front to back, it’s an absolute gem.

The tequila is out, thus another 10/10 was given. Probably not a shocker the way it’s been talked about.
Bottom line, they just don’t make ‘em like this anymore. Front to back, an unrivaled beauty with so much thought put in to every layer.
