「2024新竹瘋影展X台灣國際兒童影展」將於8月2日至9月1日在新竹市影像博物館盛大舉行！本次影展由新竹市政府與台灣國際兒童影展合作舉辦，涵蓋來自捷克、挪威、德國、法國等17個國家的35部優質影片，包括動畫片、劇情片及紀錄片。每一部影片都能啟發孩子們的勇氣與想像力，讓暑假更加豐富精彩。

影展開幕片為捷克動畫片《燈泡男孩》，講述11歲男孩托尼與小女孩雪莉的冒險故事，突顯影展主題「我的勇敢不一樣」。閉幕片則是《拉姆雅的時空冒險》，敘述敘利亞難民女孩拉姆雅的奇幻旅程。

The “2024 Hsinchu Film Festival X Taiwan International Children's Film Festival” will be held from August 2 to September 1 at the Image Museum of Hsinchu City! Co-hosted by the Hsinchu City Government and the Taiwan International Children's Film Festival, this event features 35 high-quality films from 17 countries including Czech Republic, Norway, Germany, and France. Each film aims to inspire courage and imagination in children, making their summer more enriching and exciting.

The opening film, "Tony, Shelly and the Magic Light (2023)," is a Czech animation that tells the adventurous story of Tony and Shelly, highlighting the festival's theme "My Courage is Different." The closing film, "Lamya’s Poem (2021)," depicts the magical journey of a Syrian refugee girl Lamya.

Admission to the festival is free, with post-screening discussions led by professional teachers to help children deeply understand the films. 2024年是香港傳奇女演員鄭佩佩出道60週年紀念，不幸的是，本週她以78歲的高齡離世。

鄭老師是華語影壇心目中的俠女代表也是影史首位女武打演員，在武俠和喜劇電影中的角色給全球觀眾留下了深刻印象。她的中西合璧風格創下了許多華人“第一次” 的紀錄，例如《卧虎藏龍》讓她出演好萊塢製作的電影，也因此成為香港電影金像獎最佳女配角。在1993年周星馳主演的電影《唐伯虎點秋香》中飾演的華夫人更令影迷留下了深刻的印象。

2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the debut of the legendary Hong Kong actress, Pei-Pei Cheng, who unfortunately passed away this week at the age of 78.

Pei-Pei Cheng was a beloved figure in Chinese cinema and is regarded as the first female martial arts actress in film history. Her roles in martial arts and comedy films left a lasting impression on audiences worldwide. Known for her East-and-West style, she set numerous "first" records as a Chinese actress, such as starring in the Hollywood production "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000)," which earned her the Best Supporting Actress award at the Hong Kong Film Awards. Her portrayal of Madam Hua in Stephen Chow's film "Flirting Scholar (1993)" left a deep impression on fans.

Rest in peace, Pei-Pei Cheng, your contributions to the film industry and pioneering spirit will continue to inspire us, and your legacy will forever remain in our hearts.

文化內容策進院 (以下簡稱文策院) 在本月的卡羅維瓦利國際影展 (Karlovy Vary International Film Festival) 中分享了他們在跨國合製電影上的投資成果。過去3年，文策院已支持近40個含台灣元素的國際合製項目，許多作品入圍柏林、坎城等著名影展。今年的卡羅維瓦利國際影展中，由台灣、新加坡、波蘭合製、文策院投資的《刺心切骨》更是成功入選了水晶球賽 (Crystal Globe)，並成為該單元中唯一的華語片。

At this month's Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) highlighted their achievements in investing in cross-national co-produced films. Over the past three years, TAICCA has supported nearly 40 international co-production projects with Taiwanese elements, many of which have been featured at prestigious festivals like Berlin International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival. This year, "Pierce (2024)," a co-production between Taiwan, Singapore, and Poland, and invested in by TAICCA, successfully entered the Crystal Globe competition at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, becoming the only Chinese-language film in the category.

During Pride Month, let's get to know drag queen Nymphia Wind (Nymphia Wind 妮妃雅). Recently named one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in Asia for the arts, she also performed an impressive show at the Presidential Office Building in Taiwan.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Taipei and Hong Kong, Nymphia faced bullying from a young age. However, she found confidence through drag and overcame her struggles with a passion for stage performance, becoming a shining drag queen. Nymphia won the crown on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” becoming the first Taiwanese champion. She bravely uses the art of drag to combat societal prejudice, showcasing the strength and beauty of the LGBTQ+ community.

"嘉慶君再遊台灣"募資計畫滿週年，但離能成功拍攝仍有很長的一段路要走，希望社會大眾能多多分享讓更多人知道這項目資計畫，幫助亞蘭姐與歌仔戲專業人士一起保存這項台灣獨特的傳統文化。

在9/22發生不幸的屏東明揚廠房大火，疑似塵爆瞬間帶走四名警消的生命，其中更有一名打火弟兄原本準備十月去度蜜月，現在徒留遺憾，只願諸位英雄一路走好家屬節哀順變。

台灣社會、政府、企業長年忽視各項安全規定，鐵皮廠房充斥且無任何消防設備或者安全規定，本公司創辦人的一位多年好友也在燿華電子宜蘭廠工安意外中不幸喪生。到底還要多少的血肉犧牲才能讓台灣人重視安全呢?

這些警消英雄的犧牲令人敬佩與感慨，也希望家屬能夠獲得協助。本公司也一盡棉薄之力，捐款至屏東縣政府的「０９２２火災爆炸災害捐款」專戶，希望能多少協助到這些英雄的家屬。如果像小小的本公司能夠出點力，那大企業更是責無旁貸，懇求大家有錢出錢、有力出力，協助受難家屬度過難關，也讓這次不幸成為台灣最後的工安意外。
