About the show
When the latest installment of Hayden’s favourite travel serial spells out that the anonymous writer does not want readers to come looking for them, Hayden knows that between the lines, it’s an invitation. Travel throughout the country of Conclaire is taboo, and for the last ten years, the writer of Signed, Venus has been challenging convention by travelling the land and sending journal entries about their experiences back to their hometown of Coast Venus. Relying on their charisma and awesome powers of persuasion, Hayden convinces their partner Kameron, a surfer and one of Coast Venus’s most recent immigrants, to bring his big blue bus and join Hayden on a quest to find the writer. With a map of Conclaire thoughtfully marked up with Signed, Venus’s most significant locations and plenty of raw determination, Hayden and Kameron set out, but it soon becomes clear that not everything the traveler wrote about is as it appears.
