Good morning everyone! Today we have an important cast update to share with all of you ♡

Please welcome Lucie Lewis to Signed, Venus as the new voice of Hayden!

Lucie is a Welsh creative audio producer with a passion for radio. She's worked both behind the mic and behind the scenes, and we are so excited to welcome her to the show. Lucie is bright and enthusiastic, and we can't wait for her to bring Hayden to life for Parts II and III 💖

We also want to take a moment to thank Rin, who voiced Hayden in Part I of Signed, Venus, for their hard work on the show. Rin is a close friend and we cherish the time that we got to spend working together on Signed, Venus. We wish Rin well with all their future work ♡

Thank you so much everyone for keeping up with Signed, Venus, listening to the show, and recommending it to your friends during this much-longer-than-expected hiatus. We're working hard and hope to get Part II to you soon!

One of the characters we'll meet in Signed, Venus Part II is Zelene, who runs a flower shop in Sayre.

We took a peek at her notes for ideas on how to make the perfect autumn arrangement! 💐

Each of these flowers is in bloom during autumn and has a meaning in flower language which reminds Zelene of the season 🍂 Zelene also suggests decorating your arrangements with colourful fallen leaves!

It's been one year since Part I of Signed, Venus was released!! 🎉🎉🎉 To celebrate, we put together this teaser for Part II showcasing Sayre and Quidel, the next two locations on Hayden and Kameron's road trip! 🎭🌾 We also want to give you all an update on where Signed, Venus is at in production. As some of you may already be aware, one of our showrunners and writers, Serena, fell very ill last summer. To prioritize recovery, we put production on hiatus. Production for the show resumed in January. Scripts were written, table reads and rehearsals were scheduled, and recording began! As we progressed, it became clear that many members of the cast and crew are facing challenges related to the pandemic. These challenges include mental health struggles, sporadic work schedules, physical illness, and family circumstances. In acknowledgment of this, and so not to add stress to everyone who is struggling already, we've decided to slow production down to accommodate everyone's needs. This means setting flexible deadlines, being understanding about scheduling changes, adjusting the way we go about aspects of production to make it easier on the cast and crew, and in general trying to be as supportive as possible of everyone involved in the production. To date, we have lines completely recorded for some actors and we are moving forward toward a Summer 2021 release! We're so thankful for your patience and support, and we can't wait to bring Part II to you. Take care of yourselves out there. ❤️

About the show

When the latest installment of Hayden’s favourite travel serial spells out that the anonymous writer does not want readers to come looking for them, Hayden knows that between the lines, it’s an invitation. Travel throughout the country of Conclaire is taboo, and for the last ten years, the writer of Signed, Venus has been challenging convention by travelling the land and sending journal entries about their experiences back to their hometown of Coast Venus. Relying on their charisma and awesome powers of persuasion, Hayden convinces their partner Kameron, a surfer and one of Coast Venus’s most recent immigrants, to bring his big blue bus and join Hayden on a quest to find the writer. With a map of Conclaire thoughtfully marked up with Signed, Venus’s most significant locations and plenty of raw determination, Hayden and Kameron set out, but it soon becomes clear that not everything the traveler wrote about is as it appears.
