🥀 Are Labour about to scupper a new pool for Maryport?

Conservative-led Allerdale Borough Council have secured £5m toward the creation of a new pool for Maryport.

Unfortunately, Cumberland Council have to approve it and yesterday they failed to make a decision, putting the funding at risk.

It will come back for decision at the end of April, so let's tell Labour to stop playing games and GET ON WITH IT.

Plans have been submitted to demolish a partially constructed building and construct two homes.

We will be closed this Thursday and Friday for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend, reopening as normal from Monday 6 June.

Although our Waste Collection Team will be working as normal on both Thursday June 2 and Friday June 3. Please leave your bin out for collection on your usual collection day. Although if you are having a street party and access to your street may be obstructed, we would like to encourage you to place your bins at the end of your street so that they can be emptied.
