Dropping two episodes tonight. The first one is up. I'm uploading the second one as I'm writing this post.

I'm joined by Dr. Jeremiah Cheng for both episodes. In both episodes, we will be discussing issues directly related to the conception of life.

Episode 18 is on embryonic adoption. Episode 19 will be on issues related to IVF.

This perfectly encapsulates the problem when medicine is politicized and narratives are clung onto for dear life for fear of being exposed as incorrect. Here you have a podcaster who's also a UFC ring announcer asking a question to a medical doctor who also happens to be THE correspondent of a large cable news company and the doctor is unable to answer his question. This is just a clip, but please feel free to watch/listen to the entire podcast episode if you like. Truth is indeed stranger than fiction.

British Rapper ZUBY said it like this: "Once they have made up their mind, most people would rather to commit to being wrong, than admit they were wrong."

Today, the secular priesthood of the elite that the vast majority of the public blindly follow is the rule of law and if you even not just dare to disagree, but even question an associated belief, you are mocked, censored, and villanized usually as some neanderthal. But truth ALWAYS withstands the test of scrutiny.

Thomas Sowell said it like this: "Intellectuals have seen themselves not simply as an elite – in the passive sense in which large landowners, rentiers, or holders of various sinecures might qualify as elites – but as an anointed elite, people with a mission to lead others in one way or another toward better lives.”

Many who identify more with their vocation and their initial statements fall prey to the exact same disposition. It is much better to identify more so with Christ because in Christ you will be able to find humility.

I like how John MacArthur put it earlier this year. He said it like this: "Scripture says the church is “the pillar and support of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15). In that role we are often pitted against popular opinion and media narratives. It’s a task that normally calls for boldness rather than subtlety."

He talks about how a person who is vaccinated feels safe and how the feel happy about it the same as a parent with a child who isn’t and doesn’t need to be b...

RC Sproul stated the following in 2008 (13 years ago).

Consider giving it a read. Perhaps, it is applicable today.

“Throughout the history of the Christian church, Christianity has always stood over against all forms of statism. Statism is the natural and ultimate enemy to Christianity because it involves a usurpation of the reign of God. If Francis Schaeffer was right — and each year that passes makes his prognosis seem all the more accurate — it means that the church and the nation face a serious crisis in our day. In the final analysis, if statism prevails in America, it will mean not only the death of our religious freedom, but also the death of the state itself. We face perilous times where Christians and all people need to be vigilant about the rapidly encroaching elevation of the state to supremacy.”

“A decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered….” In Luke 2, the well-known passage introducing the nativity story, the title a

Samuel Sey Sey coming again with some more logic and fire.

In a recent NYT article dated from August 12th, the NYT states that 72% of young black Americans are unvaccinated. What that means is that with NYC’s vaccine passport, 72% of young black Americans living in NYC will not be able to have access to the basic freedoms that much of their counterparts enjoy. Does that sound right to you?

Let’s not conflate topics here. This is interrelated yet very distinct from your thoughts about Covid and the vaccine.

No, this is about something completely different and unprecedented in recent Western history.

Give his article a read.

During the George Floyd protests last year, Canadian politicians said they believe black lives matter.  Since then, however—Justin Trudeau and the Liberal government have introduced vaccine passports for federal workers that marginalize black lives. And now Ontario’s premier, Doug Ford, is cons...

"The believer when he is brought into peace with God does not tremble at the thought of God's power. He does not ask, "Will He plead against me with His great power?" But he says, "No, that very power, once my terror, and fear, is now my refuge and my hope, for He shall put that very power in me. I rejoice that God is Almighty, for He will lend me His omnipotence—'He will put strength into me."' The very power which would have damned my soul, saves my soul. The very power that would have crushed me, God puts into me that the work of salvation may be accomplished. No, He will not use it to crush me, but He will put that very strength into me. Dost see there the Mighty One upon His throne? Dread Sovereign, I see Thine awful arm. What, wilt Thou crush the sinner? Wilt Thou utterly destroy him with thy strength? "No," saith He, "come hither, child." And if you go to His almighty throne, "There," saith He, "that self-same arm which made thee quake, see there, I give it to thee. Go out and live. I have made thee mighty as I am, to do My works; I will put strength into thee. The same strength which would have broken thee to pieces on the wheel shall now be put into thee, that thou mayest do mighty works."

"False prophets will come among them, and the confusion will make their isolation even greater. Someone stands beside me, externally a member of the community. A prophet or preacher stands there, a Christian by appearances, words, and deeds. But internally dark motives are driving him to us. Internally he is a rampaging wolf; his words are lies and his deeds deceit. He knows how to guard his secret well, but under cover he works his evil deeds. He is among us, not because faith in Jesus Christ brought him to us, but because the devil drives him into the faith community. Perhaps he is seeking power and influence, money, fame by his own thoughts and prophecies. He seeks the world, but not the Lord Christ. He hides his dark intent in the cloak of Christian piety and knows that Christians are easy to fool. Because of his cloak of innocence, he is counting on not being unmasked. He knows well that Christians are prohibited from judging, and he will remind them of that at just the right moment! No one can see into another’s heart. So he can deceive many a person to stray from the right way. Perhaps he does not even know all this, perhaps the devil who is driving him has concealed from him the truth about himself."

"The time is coming when Christians, for the sake of their confession, will be excluded from "human society," as it is called, hounded from place to place, subjected to physical attack, abused, and under some circumstances even killed. The time of a widespread persecution of Christians is coming, and that is actually the real meaning of all the movements and struggles of our time. Those opponents intent upon destroying the Christian church and Christian faith cannot live together with us, because they see in all of our words and all of our actions that their own words and deeds are condemned, even if ours are not directed against them. And they are not wrong in seeing this and feeling that we are indifferent to their condemnation of us. They have to admit that their condemnation is completely powerless and negligible."

"Everything, even the most spoiled stuff, can be saved by salt. Only salt which has lost its saltiness is hopelessly spoiled. That is the other reality of salt. That is the threatening judgment which hangs over the disciples' community. The earth is supposed to be saved by the community. But the community that has stopped being what it is will be hopelessly lost. The call of Jesus Christ means being salt of the earth or being destroyed. It means following Christ or- the call itself will destroy the one called. There is no second opportunity to be saved. There cannot be such a salvation."

Dietrich Bonhoffer in Discipleship (or The Cost of Discipleship)

"Men, for the most part, are not lost enough in their own feeling for a Saviour. A holy despair in ourselves is the ground of true hope. In God the fatherless find mercy (Hos. 14:3); if men were more fatherless, they should feel more God's fatherly affection from heaven, for the God who dwells in the highest heavens dwells likewise in the lowest soul (Isa. 57:15). Christ's sheep are weak sheep, and lacking in something or other; he therefore applies himself to the necessities of every sheep. He seeks that which was lost, and brings again that which was driven out of the way, and binds up that which was broken, and strengthens the weak (Ezek. 34:16). His tenderest care is over the weakest. The lambs he carries in his bosom (Isa. 40:11). He says to Peter, `Feed my lambs' (John 21:15). He was most familiar and open to troubled souls. How careful he was that Peter and the rest of the apostles should not be too much dejected after his resurrection! `Go your way, tell his disciples and Peter' (Mark 16:7). Christ knew that guilt of their unkindness in leaving of him had dejected their spirits. How gently did he endure the unbelief of Thomas and stooped so far unto his weakness, as to suffer him to thrust his hand into his side."
