Djs and their equipment. . . . . #pioneerdj #djequipment #mixing When I started Djing in the late 90s all we’ve got was a pair or three of the Technics 1210 turntables, in best case clubs were equipped with the Pioneer Mixer DJM 600. It wasn’t easy to play and matching beats manually. It was all about hearing and sensitive usage of the turntables. No Sync buttons, loop sections or something like that. Sometimes I’ve been really under pressure to mix because of the end of a track 😄 Time changes and heaps of interesting products are on the market. It’s though to find the right equipment to feel comfortable, putting everything together and learn how to play with it, to create an outstanding and special style. I think räto become a good Dj it needs patience and also a obsession about equipment to learn how to handle it and get the best out of it. After my long break as a Dj, finding myself a few years ago in a totally different world of Djing. I claim I found a setup I really love to work with. It gives me all the options to build a unique world of my own rhythms and a spectacular width of effects I use in my sets. Therefore I‘ve chosen all Pioneer equipment. It feels still familiar for me - three CDJs, the V10 and a SP-16 to merge everything in one. Have a look on my latest capture of a set I did at home.
