I remember when people mocked me for moving from Nigeria to “ordinary Ghana” in their words, people who don’t even have passport to cross the closest border.
Ghana was a starting point, to open my mind, see the world, be independent, work hard, work on myself and get better at everything but how would they know that?
I was tired of being pampered and provided for, years later I find myself in the Uk. Prior to this while in Ghana I already started working for clients in Europe, even though i was still in Africa.
Now I have some big aunties in the UK because I broadened my horizons and my mind.
My story is a long one but I’ll leave this one here today. If there’s a lesson you take from this: leave your comfort zone, nothing great happens in that zone. And people will talk, let them, guide your heart and let God lead you on your journey to finding your true purpose.
