"Love is sweet, oh! When money enters, love is sweeter," in Davido's voice.

Davido and Chioma's lifestyle is a true definition of this lyric. With the way these two are going, I believe love is the primary thing bonding them together before money.

If Davido weren't this rich and famous, Chioma would have still loved him and remained with him as she is doing now, but luckily for them, the money and fame are there to spice up the relationship and make it sweeter.

After so many encounters with other girls, why must it always be Chioma? There is something peculiar about Chioma that Davido is not disclosing to anyone.

We are happy that he found his soulmate and doesn't allow the celebrity lifestyle to ruin the relationship.

THE FALLACY OF "NO BODY OWES YOU ANYTHING": A SHIELD FOR SELFISH INTEREST IN OUR SOCIETY.
In a world where individualism is increasingly celebrated and the pursuit of self-interest is often seen as the highest virtue, the phrase "nobody owes you anything" has become a common mantra. While on the surface, it may seem like a call for personal responsibility and self-reliance, this phrase has been weaponized to justify selfishness and evade our moral obligations to help one another.
The idea that "nobody owes you anything" is often used to rationalize a lack of empathy or compassion for those in need. It's essential to remember that this mentality can have severe consequences, as it can perpetuate social inequality and leave vulnerable individuals without support.
One of the key arguments used to defend this statement is the notion of personal freedom and individual rights. While it's true that individuals should have the freedom to make their own choices and pursue their goals, it's equally important to acknowledge that we live in a society where we are interconnected. We rely on the support and cooperation of others for our collective well-being. If we refuse to help one another, we undermine the very fabric of society that allows us to thrive.
Furthermore, the "nobody owes you anything" argument can be used to justify privilege and inequality. Those who are more fortunate in life often use this phrase to absolve themselves of the responsibility to assist those less fortunate. While it's not an obligation for anyone to solve all the world's problems, it is a fundamental human duty to extend a hand to those who are struggling.
The idea that "nobody owes you anything" also ignores the concept of social contracts and mutual obligations. We live in societies with systems of governance that are designed to provide certain services and protections to citizens. By paying taxes and following the rules of society, individuals implicitly agree to a social contract that binds them to a responsibility to support the well-being of the community. This idea highlights that we do owe something to our fellow citizens, even if it's not a personal debt but a social one.
Additionally, we cannot disregard the fact that circumstances beyond one's control often lead to hardship. Economic downturns, natural disasters, and other unpredictable events can suddenly thrust people into challenging situations. In these moments, the phrase "nobody owes you anything" can be deeply callous. When individuals are suffering through no fault of their own, our collective humanity demands that we offer assistance and support.
In conclusion, while the phrase "nobody owes you anything" may sound like a call for personal responsibility, it is essential to recognize its potential for justifying selfishness and evading moral responsibilities. In a connected world, where social contracts, empathy, and mutual support are critical for the well-being of all, we must challenge the notion that we owe nothing to our fellow human beings. We owe it to ourselves and to society as a whole to be compassionate, empathetic, and willing to lend a helping hand when needed.

Amidst the country's economic crunch, Nigerian Breweries has decided to raise the prices of all their products starting August 10, 2023.

The increase is attributed to the ongoing surge in input costs and the need to counter its effects.

This development may prompt Nigerians who rely on alcoholic beverages to explore alternative options.

Tinubu writes Senate, seeks approval for military action against Niger.

Nigeria, as the current chair of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), has taken a firm stance against the military overthrow of Niger's democratic government. President Bola Tinubu has led ECOWAS in opposing this disruption and has approved sanctions ag@inst Niger's military junta.

A recent meeting held in Abuja resulted in resolutions warning of possible military force if the new government doesn't hand over power to the ousted president within a week.
