So although I owned an entry level mirrorless camera for the last two years, it wasn't unti the first lockdown last year in March that I started to enjoy making video and invested in the Fulltime Filmaker course. I went from always using the camera in Aperture Priority, basically in automatic, to now fully manual. At the beginning I had no idea how it worked, shooting the odd vlog and now people are paying me for work. Mental. I've only really just started down this road but I absolutely love it and it just shows, if you put your mind to something, you can achieve more than you expected. I still have so much to learn and improve but I am enjoying the process. Learn. Make. Repeat. Here is a highlight reel of some of the things I shot in 2020, made for my website (all shot on the Canon M50). I have now invested in the Canon R6 and I can't wait to make stuff with it! All I can say is, whatever you're passionate about, get after it. Look after yourselves, James

I made this video for Presca Sportswear about their collaboration with Team Boompods Elite Women's Cycling Team. Presca make great quality cycling, tri and running kit out of recycled plastic bottles and fishing nets, which is awesome. But what is even more amazing is they are trialling a system where when you have finished with a product, you send it back to them and they break it down to the raw materials and make a new one, so the kit doesn’t end up in landfill. That. Is. Cool. Check them out and any feedback on the video welcome!
