45,000 thousand denominations?
45,000 thousand different truths?
Did Jesus Christ found 45,000 different churches?

As a former protester of the Catholic Church myself, ridicule of Catholics was innate. American culture planted those seeds within me completely unbeknownst to me. I did not have this bias against any other church? Why is that?

Why is only one church trashed in the news and in the history books? The non-stop attack is visibly demonic and a rage against the truth.

3 years ago, I didn't know what to look for, but looking back it is obvious.

From the beginning, the early Christians warned of false teachers:

"Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things to draw away the disciples after them (Acts 20:28-30)

On the contrary, there is One God,
One Truth,
One Catholic Church

To non-Christians, relativism and apparent "diversity of belief" makes a mockery of faith and truth. Imagine if a bus housing a historic artifact came to your town, then 45,000 other buses came a few days later claiming to house that same authentic artifact? The locals would be foremost confused, and then vent in mockery and give up on seeing the true artifact.

In order for Christ to be known to the world, Jesus declared to Peter, the first pope, about the Catholic Church: "the gates of Hades will not overcome it." (Matthew 16:18)

That the Roman Catholic Church is the One Church of Christ is known by many lights of reason: firstly, it traces its origin to Jesus; secondly, it is visible and universal; thirdly, it is Apostolic. Thus, any who seek out the light amidst the darkness will find it.

For this post, we will focus on the third aspect, Apostolicity—

Around the 200s, the early Christian named Tertullian laid down a two-point test to discern whether a church is apostolic or not.

1. "Let them produce the original records of their churches; let them unfold the roll of their bishops, running down in due succession from the beginning in such a manner that [that first bishop of theirs ] bishop shall be able to show for his ordainer and predecessor some one of the apostles or of apostolic men...Let the heretics contrive something of the same kind...But should they even effect the contrivance, they will not advance a step."

2. "For their very doctrine, after comparison with that of the apostles, will declare, by its own diversity and contrariety, that it had for its author neither an apostle nor an apostolic man; because, as the apostles would never have taught things which were self-contradictory, so the apostolic men would not have inculcated teaching different from the apostles, unless they who received their instruction from the apostles went and preached in a contrary manner.

"Then let all the heresies, when challenged to these two tests by our apostolic church, offer their proof of how they deem themselves to be apostolic. But in truth they neither are so, nor are they able to prove themselves to be what they are not...they are in no sense themselves apostolic because of their diversity as to the mysteries of the faith."

There exists now frontiers of evangelization novel to our age that would have been unimaginable to our forefathers, yet the potential for reaching souls would have been just as enticing for them as it should be for us. Let their zeal inspire us now. Now is the time to take up faith and dedicate your life to something that will assuredly be heavenly rewarding, and to a mission that is dutifully necessary.

“This is, I say, a new kind of knighthood and one unknown to the ages gone by,” St. Bernard remarks.

The Catholic Creators Mission Crusade is a worldwide fraternal organization for digital missionaries that understands their potential and will act as a united force for good.

21/04/2024

One of the deepest differences between us Catholics and many Protestant churches is that we believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, where as they do not. Now, hear the consensus of the Christian tradition and the words of Christ Himself, and judge for yourself whether Jesus is truly still with us:

“Do not think that Jesus Christ is forgetful of you, since he has left you, as the greatest memorial and pledge of his love, himself in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.”
—St Alphonsus Liguori

In this world I cannot see the Most High Son of God with my own eyes, except for His Most Holy Body and Blood."
—St. Francis

“What you see is the bread and the chalice; that is what your own eyes report to you. But what your faith obliges you to accept is that the bread is the body of Christ, and the chalice is the blood of Christ."
—St. Augustine

"When we speak of the reality of Christ's nature being in us, we would be speaking foolishly and impiously—had we not learned it from Him. For He Himself says: "My Flesh is truly Food, and My Blood is truly Drink. He that eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood will remain in Me and I in Him." As to the reality of His Flesh and Blood, there is no room left for doubt, because now, both by the declaration of the Lord Himself and by our own faith, it is truly Flesh and it is truly Blood."
—St. Hilary of Poitiers

If you deny His awesome presence in the Most Holy Eucharist, you are no different than the Jews who murmured when Jesus explained this greatest mystery of faith.

"The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying: How can this man give us his flesh to eat?" (John 6:53)

"Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you do not have life within you."
—Jesus (John 6:54)

Let us recall the words St. Bernard preached at the start of the 2nd crusade on the hill of Vezelay:

“Christian warriors, He who gave His life for you, today demands yours in return. These are combats worthy of you, combats in which it is glorious to conquer and advantageous to die. Illustrious knights, generous defenders of the Cross, remember the example of your fathers, who conquered Jerusalem, and whose names are inscribed in Heaven. Abandon then the things that perish, to gather unfading palms and conquer a Kingdom that has no end.”

Brethren, we must again have faith in our God and storm Heaven with prayers! Let us recall the words St. Bernard preached at the start of the 2nd crusade on ...

From this point forward, no more hesitant videos afraid to speak the truth or make known God's glory.

I'm going all in.

"[Pray] for me, that speech may be given me, that I may open my mouth with confidence, to make known the mystery of the gospel.

"For which I am an ambassador in a chain, so that therein I may be bold to speak according as I ought. —Ephesians 6:19-20
