Nearly 20 % of all adults, according to Georgetown.edu, have two or more conditions, and 5-8% of all adults have an autoimmune disease.
It’s a hard life to live and can be a wrecking ball to life as you know it upon diagnosis. If you know someone with an autoimmune disease, I beg you to be empathetic to their plight.
