I wore out the debut vinyl record by the band Gypsy which I bought when I lived in Denver from 1969-1971. After decades of waiting, it was finally released on CD. The last remaining original member, James Walsh, had written a song in the '90s that was added to the original set of '70s tracks. The song is called "The Innocence" and I was blown away by it. Here's my live version of it.

When my daughter began her frequent travels, jetting off to bustling cities for meetings and conferences, I found myself pondering her experiences, which sparked the creation of this song.
