life update! 👇🏼🚐

I’ve been living in Denver in the most perfect apartment for the winter. But…this was always meant to be temporary. In 2 months I’ll be packing everything up once again and…moving back into the van!! I’m so excited just thinking about it 🥹

I’ll be hitting the road in May, and I have a PACKED summer of plans ahead of me 😍

If you’ve lived on the road, you know that truly nothing compares. I love being able to go wherever I want, whenever I want. Sleeping with insane views and letting Cedar run free in the desert. I love that so many nights end with a campfire. That you get to meet so many amazing people, so unexpectedly. I love that it feels like an endless adventure.

Summer can’t come soon enough 😍

How I afford to live the lifestyle I do…aka full-time travel, short-term leases in new cities, and working for myself 🤝🏼

To be transparent, I work my a** off. I genuinely work more than anyone that I know. Also to be transparent? I love it. I am building a dream and a future for myself that I know will make me happier and richer than any traditional job ever could.

I am a hard worker and I never quit. Giving up has never been an option for me. I see my future and the abundance I am meant for so clearly that nothing could get in the way of that.

So here’s what I’m going 7 days a week, 200+ hours a month, to build that future:
• Content creation (I do UGC and influencer work) 📱
• Running the .together community and hosting group trips 🏔️
• Teaching other creators how to make a consistent income with UGC through 1:1 coaching and selling digital products/courses .coach 💻
• Ghostwriting memoirs for other people ✍🏼
• Working as the Virtual Event Manager for .vanlife
• And whatever other random things I feel like picking up from time to time 🤪

I don’t often think or complain about how much I work. It’s honestly become such a part of my life that it feels far more like a blessing than a curse. Cause I know that payoff is gonna be huge baby…and the fact that I get to travel whenever I want, set my own schedule and live life on my own terms is payoff enough to me 🙌🏼

Shoutout to those of us building our dreams 24/7. We got this 💪🏼

Admittedly I tend to hate winter about 10 days into the season (I’m a California girl okay I am suited for 70 degree days), but this season feels different 🥲

I’m actually enjoying getting out on the mountain every week and skiing with friends (and breaking off from them within 10 minutes to ski by myself bc I’m weird).

I think it helps that although it’s cold and snowy here in Colorado, it’s usually sunny ☀️

…okay having said all that, I’ve started planning my summer trips and I am so excited 😂🙌🏼

2023 was the year I learned to fully and unashamedly believe in myself and others. the year I leaned more into the “what” that my heart was leading me toward and less on the “how” that my brain was trying to force.

i gained mentors that showed me that success was not only possible, but that when you’re aligned with your strengths and passions, it also easy and fun.

i trusted my gut and tuned into my body more than i ever have in my life and i never regretted it.

i learned a lot about self-sabotage and my upper limits and how the biggest thing holding me back is always myself. i began reprogramming my brain to not only accept but expect the success, abundance, and love that i desire and deserve.

i learned that everything i desire desires me more. that what belongs to me will simply find me. that my thoughts and beliefs shape my reality and not the other way around.

and i’ve come to realize that this is how things were always meant to be. easy, fun, rewarding, passionate, and raw.

happy new year, which will be filled with even more lessons and growth ✨

the most magical place 🥹

I came here not really knowing what it was or what to expect. after a slightly treacherous drive in with my 2WD van, we pulled up to a parking lot that had the most beautiful, sparkling snow on the ground.

When I walked into the hot springs, I realized this place was way more beautiful than I even imagined. The trees around were frozen, the ground covered in flaky snow, the sun peaking through the trees at just the right angle.

Not to mention they had a cold pool which is my favorite thing in the world. I felt like a little kid frolicking around the cold pool eating snow off the trees and even laying in the snow in my bathing suit at one point (I felt like I was on a bed of needles and imma stick to the cold plunge next time lol).

We people watched and soaked for hours and just had the best time. Oh, and of course had to get some pics with my camera in one of the pools which is always such a weird experience knowing everyone is watching you haha. But, worth it 🥹

10/10 recommend Strawberry Hot Springs in Colorado!

my mom took these photos of me at a viewpoint pull-off in utah.

we just finished a 14-hour roadtrip from southern california to colorado, and I usually like to just blow through long drives like that and get it over with, but sometimes I’m nudged to stop and enjoy the landscapes I’m driving through.

and to be honest I didn’t really want to stop, and sometimes it takes something forcing me to stop—like needing to get some photos for work (ilysm 🫶🏼). sometimes I take this work for granted and then I remember that I get to partner with rad companies like hard seltzer brands?! like are you literally kidding? I get paid to pull off at pretty overlooks and take photos and videos?

I like that my work forces me to stop and enjoy the view sometimes. my mom and I ended up saying how bummed we were that we couldn’t stop and explore these areas more, and my mom is a photographer so she was even more bummed she didn’t have her camera on her!

anyway, this is just a rant to say I’m grateful for views like this and jobs that force me to stop amidst my chaotic life and just crack and cold one and enjoy the view 💜

I am an extremely ambitious person with a lot of dreams and goals. Some days, I literally can’t make my brain shut off because I’m busy daydreaming business ideas or future homes I’ll own or places I have yet to explore.

But I would not be able to chase these things with a smile on my face and a genuine love for all of it if I didn’t take time to consistently slow down and appreciate my current life. Because I know that myself 2 years ago was dreaming up the days I am currently living in.

And knowing that even if I am not able to achieve all these big things I envision for my life and business (even though I believe wholeheartedly that I will hehe), I am obsessed with the life and community and job that I currently have. I am happy with what is.

It is a difficult balance, but understanding how to hold ambition and gratitude in the same hand, I believe, is the key to success.

went canyoneering in the Costa Rican rainforest and it was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. A few days later we went zip lining and I got to feel like a monkey 🙈

Life is so cool and I’m obsessed with these adventures I get to go on!! Another .together international group trip in the books! 🫶🏼

yesterday I met the cutest woman in costa rica. she owns the cafe down the street from my Airbnb in this small surf town. she walked around her art studio, which was in the cafe, with her chihuahua nestled inside her overalls like a baby bump, its bum poking out one side and its tiny head out the other.

she talked a lot, and quickly. she went on a lot of tangents and carried the conversation as if we’d known each other for years, just saying whatever came to mind. some may call it over sharing, but I think she just had things to move from her brain to her mouth, and to her, it didn’t matter who was standing there absorbing it.

I am drawn to people like her. artists. free spirits. those who show up authentically because it would eat them alive from the inside out if they didn’t.

when we left, my friend said “I feel like that’s you in 30 years” and I took that as a compliment. I can’t wait to be the crazy neighbor and aunt and friend who everyone giggles at but loves deeply. I hope one day to live so freely that all that matters is that I exist and that I create. and I hope to be so lucky that my community embraces me with the same fervor I embrace myself 🤍

little-known fact about me is that i’m vegetarian 🌱🤎

I recently hit my year mark of being vegetarian, which felt like a really big milestone, and also like a year flewww by.

I have been on and off vegetarian/vegan pretty much since I was a teenager, but it was always something that I did just a few months at a time before going back to eating meat again. This wasn’t just a pattern with my diet, but with most things in my life I tried to stick to long-term (the commitment aspect was reaaally hard for me, because commitment felt like restriction).

So I’m really proud of myself for sticking with it this past year, and I’m writing this feeling so encouraged by how truly easy it felt.

If you’ve ever thought about going vegetarian, I highly recommend just giving it a try! The planet and the animals will thank you for giving them a chance 🫶🏼

yesterday I attended an influencer event. I’ve never really been to anything like that before, and I was a bit nervous coming from the outdoor travel niche. I didn’t know if I would relate to the other creators in different industries like lifestyle and fashion and beauty, but it turns out they were all really fu***ng cool. And kind. And inspiring.

Thank you for hosting such a fun event for us to connect in person with like-minded people who understand this life that we get to live and share with the world. If there’s anything I’ve learned over the past 2 years over and over again, it’s that community is the best gift you can give to yourself. Go to those events. Get out of your comfort zone. Meet strangers from the internet (safely, of course). Just put yourself out there!! Having like-minded people in your circle who understand and support your life and goals and dreams is one of the best things you can do for yourself 🫶🏼

i love my friends and these places we get to experience together!

hiiighly recommend checking out a hot air balloon festival if you have the chance to. this was one of the most magical mornings I’ve had in a long time—I felt like a kid again watching hundreds of balloons go up right in front of us. definitely worth the 4am wake up call ☀️

and as always…I am eternally grateful for the incredible humans that .together has brought into my life 🫶🏼

what I mean by “I live in a van” is “I live at coffee shops”

I work from coffee shops pretty much every single day. I have always loved coffee shops, so I’m definitely not mad about it ☕️

Although I have Starlink and can get internet almost anywhere, I almost always prefer to work in a coffee shop over the van when I have the option!
