NFL disciplinary officer Sue L. Robinson, (former federal judge) said Watsonâs behaviour was âmore egregious than any before viewed by the NFL.â The sanction fell short of what the NFL originally wanted which was at least a year due to violating the leagueâs personal conduct policy.

In his firs year as a Buccaneer, the 43-year-old quarterback played a perfect game, surrounded by team mates who alongside Brady thrived in the conditions. The Baltimore Ravens have released quarterback Robert Griffen III on Monday, only two days after their season ended. Griffin joined the Ravens in 2018 and has been the teams backup to Lamar Jackson which was picked up by the Ravens that same year. At 30 years of age, it is uncertain if Griffin will be picked up but he claims âthe best tis yet to comeâ.
Kansas City gave their fans the ride of a lifetime, in a thrilling 22-17 win over the Cleveland Browns on Monday. With the Chiefs looking well in control of the game, it all but looked predictable until team quarterback and leader Patrick Mahomes left midway through the third quarter. Although looking all sorts of scary, Kansas City pulled through securing the win.
Aaron Rodgers has made his dream come true of an NFC Championship game at home. Rodgers threw two touchdown passes and scored, leading the Greed Bay Packers to a strong win over the Los Angeles Rams 32-18 on Sunday. Green Bayâs offence was overpowering whilst the Ramsâ defence was nowhere near ready to rise to the challenge. This will be the Packers fourth Championship game out of the last seven seasons and look to win the first Super Bowl berth in a decade.

The Jaguars have made a big statement hiring Urban Meyer as their new head coach for the upcoming season. Meyer is arguably one of the most successful coaches in College football and heâs got a large task ahead of his to turnaround one of the NFL's worst franchises. Anthony Castonzo has announced that after 10 long seasons he will be hanging up his boots and retiring from the NFL. "As a kid, it was my dream to play in the NFL. I played my first full season of tackle football in second grade," Castonzo said in a statement. "Now I have played my last. As I sit here nowâŠI am extremely proud of all the hard work and sacrifice that allowed me to evolve that dream into a goal.â Castonzo was a first round pick in the 2011 draft and started all 144 games he played in his career.

Washingtonâs quarterback Alex Smith has retired early from the game against the San Francisco 49ers. Smith finished the first half early, going directly to the locker room and a rumoured leg injury.
In 2018 Smith suffered an awful leg injury which saw him retired for the remainder of the season. His injury and rehabilitation time extended through to 2019 entirely and has finally been able to make his return in 2020.
However, the recent game shows that Smith may not be back into his 2018 form and no further details have been announced. Since this, Dwayne Haskins has replaced Smith for Washington.

30 minutes prior to kicking off against the Dallas Cowboys, Dez Bryant received a positive Conoravirus test result. The NFL is reassuring fans that all appropriate measure were taken to contain the infection and dealt with seriously.
Bryant was already on the field participating in warm-ups a full hour before the positive test result was revealed. During this, Bryant had already been hugging and talking with players including those on the Cowboys.
Appropriate contact-tracing method have been taken even though the teams were allowed to continue the game as planned. Results have yet to arise from the close contacts and whether this is another cluster that may become out of hand.
