Hi Team,
I just wanted to take a moment today, on RU OK? Day, to check in with you all. As teachers, we often put on a brave face and focus on supporting our students, colleagues, and school community. But we also carry so much on our shoulders, and sometimes, we forget to ask ourselves the simple question: "Am I OK?"

Teaching is tough – the long hours, the endless to-do lists, the emotional investment in our students. We spend so much time caring for others that we can lose sight of our own wellbeing. So today, I encourage you to take a moment to pause and reflect on how you're feeling.

Are you OK? And if you're not, that's completely fine. You don’t have to go through it alone. Reach out to a loved one, a colleague, a friend, or someone you trust. Let's remind ourselves that we’re a team, and we're here to support each other – not just in the classroom, but also in life.

Take care of yourself. Your wellbeing is important, not just for you, but for your family and the students who depend on your energy and passion.

So, let's check in with each other today. Ask a work mate, "RU OK?" You never know what difference it might make. 💛

In 2024, our original spot design was so loved that this year we decided to take it up a notch.
