The word 'Bacano' is an expression of Colombian culture that describes the feeling of good vibes and joy. This track was written and produced with exactly that intention by Colombians Cato Anaya & Augusto Yepes alongside Tortuga Captains Sparrow & Barbossa. The sound of Caribbean guitars flow through the record dancing along ethnic drums and a groovy bassline, providing a fun base for a colourful vocal hook that will make everyone feel good and dance. Monserratt DJ is back on Tortuga, this time collaborating with Mrodriguez for their Guitarrero EP. Andaluz is a stripped back groove and catchy flute, whereas Guitarrero has a beautiful high energy Spanish flow. Accompanied by three remixes from Alberto Dimeo Official, DJ Jarell and Double Drop, this is TT013.
Juan Cuadros, a DJ and producer from Colombia. He is known for creating his own sounds, live percussion and instruments. His preferred choices are the saxophone, trumpet and brass. He also uses his own voice on a lot of his productions. With an open mind and fierce curiosity for anything and everything electronic music-based, Juan Cuadros has spent the past two decades soaking up a multitude of genres and styles. For this release he teams up with Fran Zabelin and ANA for a two track EP and TT012.
