The best life I’ve ever lived is the one I currently live in Christ Jesus.
Before now, I worried about things like who loved me or if people loved me at all. I worried that I wasn’t good enough and never going to be good enough for anybody. I have called myself and actually believed that I was useless to everyone around me.

But when I stepped into the light of God, the major thing that changed for me and about me is how I began to see myself. I began to see myself through scriptural lenses.

I no longer worry if anybody loves me because I know(as a matter of fact) that Jesus loves me.
I no longer worry that I would never appeal to anyone because I appeal to God. If I didn’t appeal to God, He wouldn’t have thought it worthy to leave the 99 to come look for me. This time, he was so determined to find me and bring me back to him because oh, for the life me, I wandered aimlessly searching for things in places I have no business being in by the original design of my life.

I know for a fact that Jesus loves me. Not just because the Bible tells me so but also because he came personally for me. And that my dear, is the greatest form of love I’ve ever seen in all my life.

I have a mantra and the mantra is, “if I have nothing at all, I have Jesus”. This is my peace. This is my joy.

~Life Lately~

I had wanted to turn this post into a reel with a voiceover but a one minute reel would barely scratch the surface of my life lately.

I’m truly blessed, happy and peaceful. Re-evaluating my life from the first ever time I gave my life to Christ, I have come to understand that no matter how far i strayed, Jesus still finds away to look for me and bring me back. There is nothing special to my person except for the presence of God that is in my life. Every good thing found in me is because of him ☺️

I’ve done a lot of praying that I’m not sure I’ve prayed in a long while lol and I have engaged in conversations that stir my spirit to want to go deeper and deeper. Every discovery is a hit! 🔥 Sometimes, I just want to sing hymns and study the word but I end up praying for a long time and blasting in tongues. Sometimes, I’m in his presence and I just start shedding tears wondering why God still loves me. Sometimes, my only prayer is, “help me to seek you first always”. Other times, He just speaks to me in many different ways and his promises bring tremendous peace and joy to my heart.

I spoke to one of my friends about something concerning the spirit God and he told me, “you did not find God. God found you”. No matter how you want to preach to a person, it is only the spirit of God that will do the work of renewal and transformation.

I sincerely pray that God will find a lot of us because as it is written in the word, “the harvest is plenty but the laborers are few”.

Four incredible marketing strategies I learnt from this book:

1)When we ask someone to do us a favor, we will be more successful if we provide a reason. E.g “Please watch my videos on YouTube because it takes so much to create nice contents”. See? Even if you don’t want to do that ordinarily, you’d be moved to do so because of the reason I gave.

2)Expensive items equals good quality. That’s the natural human psychology. But I’m sure also that some affordable items are also of good quality.

3)The ability to manipulate without the appearance of manipulation. It is only you that knows how you’ll do this one.

4)The rule of reciprocity. When you buy from some other person, it is most likely that in turn, they’d buy from you.

“Everyone’s stepping up. What about you?”

This year has been the most overwhelming for me. Maybe because I put a lot of energy into becoming a better version of myself but did not really hit major milestones. Often times, I compared myself with my mates who are doing well for themselves and I’d ask myself the question above. The answer was always in the negative.

With Nigeria moving like something worse than a roller coaster, there is this pressure to out-do oneself or mates which often results in seasonal depression and it is most prevalent in younger people. We are too focused on telling our breakthrough story when it is fully done so people see us as “doing great”.

I did not smash my majors goals but I’ve gone a long way from where I used to be and that my dear, is what sharing:
1. Worked at ‘s laundry. I earned cool cash and learnt some marketing tips and tricks.(win)

2. I resumed school after the strike to finish what I’ve started (win)

3. I lost my daddy (huge huge loss)

4. I started a YT channel and a website(win)

5. I applied for ‘s masterclass for influencers and creatives. I was selected but unfortunately I couldn’t afford the flight to Abuja (loss)

6. I applied at a newspaper to be a columnist. This issue is a bit complicated so it was neither a loss nor a win. Na me hol’ myself. Lol

7. I started writing as a business but never had a client. (Loss)

8. I didn’t reach my YouTube channel target and website target(loss)

9. Omooo emotionally and mentally,
I trained myself to be mature (that’s a madass win mehn!)

10. I did not make money this year(loss).

In the end of all of this, I give myself accolades because I deserve it. Thanks, God bless and bye!

Have you ever thought how journaling makes you feel light hearted afterwards???

There are things I can’t say even to myself. Maybe because I’m too ashamed to admit it or I haven’t found the words yet but writing it down in my journal makes me feel safe that I’m talking to someone who understands, who won’t judge. Someone I don’t have to be scared would spill my secrets.

My journal may not be a secret place but it is my safe place.❤️
