Firstly, can I give a warm welcome to those who have joined us recently together with a very big thank you to all the groups and individuals who have followed us over many months. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

And it isn’t just with Facebook that we are gaining interest. The website statistics make for great reading too with visitor numbers to the site showing an increase of around 150% over 2023

Finally, could I ask all the groups who follow us and are also listed on our website to please nominate a volunteer for our £50 M&S Award. We want our award scheme to continue running through 2025, but we need your help to do it. You can nominate someone here and thank you;

Founded between 1929-1987 these choirs are not yet old enough to be listed on Amateur Accolades but they are clearly worth listening to;

A few words about Colin Lovett the winner of our second Amateur Accolades Volunteer Award and who was nominated by Stow Park Lawn Tennis Club

Colin joined the club in 1988 and apart from being the chair of tennis for 3 years and club captain for 3 years he has constantly been busy organising tennis tournaments, helping maintain not only the courts and grounds but the club house as well. And as if that wasn’t enough, he has been known to work behind the bar on occasions

Congratulations Colin you are clearly a very handy man to
have around and a very worthy winner!
