I don’t wear makeup often anymore, but recently looked into starting to wear eyeliner again. I miss the cat wings!

I LOVE foundation, but in the summer issa no go for me. Between sweating, touching my face, the sun & face sunburns, & humidity foundation wasn’t staying on ANYWHERE!

So I’m excited to test this foundation out by IT HAS SPF

Hi, Hello, and Good Morning! It's not morning 🤣

I’m Juakerra 👋🏽

Over the past 2 years, I have started to find myself in life. After a long relationship, 7 months of “what the f**k am I doing on Earth”, losing myself completely, and meeting some of the best people in my life, I found my footing and determination to start my business, Let’s Try Adulting.

I didn’t start my business for podcasting. Let’s Try Adulting started as a blog. I didn’t imagine I could podcast and spread it to the world at first. I was always the introvert. I didn’t like being in crowds. I disliked group presentations. I cried when I had do public speaking. Podcasting was always just out of reach, or “I need to do more research.” It was me stalling stepping into my best self.

After months of listening to podcasts and saying I’ll do it later, I put myself under pressure to start a podcast in two weeks as a random goal in an accountability group. I KNEW I wanted to start, but I never set a date.

Spontaneous was the key! I couldn’t back out after I announced it. Even after having a launch date, I STILL procrastinated until the last few days. So I did my trailer and first 3 episodes MESSSSSSYY!

Fast forward, and I can’t imagine my life now without my podcast! I have come sooo much more out of my shell. I am more comfortable with myself. I love my podcast with all my heart ❤️

What is my secret? HAVING FUN with a sprinkle of doing your podcast on your own terms. I podcast messy and often in my car! I don't edit, only listen AFTER it's published, make mistakes, and laugh at my own self while having fun (seriously, I can't say some words but keep pushing!)

I believe you CAN podcast in your own style without judgement, be comfortable, and LOVE doing it! Podcasting has changed my life both listening and starting my own. I have found my voice and pushing to be my best self. I want to extend that energy to help you start AND maintain your podcast!

A few people have asked me, and I was on the fence. But after this morning's call helping someone receive clarity on podcasting, I decided what the heck! Taking my own advice and doing it. If I can help one person, then it was worth it!

Handling your personal finances is the first step towards adulting. At least that’s what I believe. Everything costs money.

The basics of budgeting is simple. All you need is a pen and paper and some time to yourself.

Look at your list of bills and then income. Do you have enough to make ends meet or are you slowly slipping into a hole? Are there some things you can cut?

Then there’s the point of savings. Not only for emergencies only adulting can throw at you, but for the just because things. Do you want to say for that nice gift for yourself? Do you want to save for Christmas presents that you swore last year you will have money for this year?

One step at a time, we will get there. Just because it’s “personal” finances, doesn’t mean it has to not be talked about. You’re not alone.

A few months ago I joined text community. This one this morning really hit home. It’s been a rollercoaster of a week. While I’m grateful for every hurdle, bump, and brick wall I’ve encountered, I know the reward will be MASSIVELY GREAT!

We aren’t meant to have a “smooth” or “easy” life. Life is growth. Adulting is growth. We as humans are growth.

Motivation can come in the darkest and lightest of times. Remember to take care of YOURSELF too.

YOU ARE WORTHY! YOU ARE IMPORTANT! YOU ARE THE CHANGE OF YOUR LIFE!

Remember to be kind to yourself always 💖
