We also have a very high suicide rate these days. It is important that we ask questions, not make assumptions. Society often uses sensitive words to describe a person or something that has not been learned. Shout out to our guest for coming on & talking about schizophrenia and all the misconceptions about the disability. Parenting with a disability❗️
Everyone who knows me knows how much I love my kids so this was a sensitive topic for me. My kids played a huge part in my recovery and my reason for wanting to become a better person overall. But before I could do that I had to fight my own battles. I had to love on myself, by me doing that I started to see so many imperfections within me & from that I grew more patient with myself. And once I was able to become patient & caring with myself I became more patient & caring with my kids realizing that none of us are perfect and we all have things that were battling and dealing with on a daily. I’m just thankful that they never gave up on me and looked at me any different 👨👧👦💜 via ~ @flyboilyfestyle link below 👇👇👇
