Sweltering Noon
Behold these soaked boughs,
Flying flies and hopping larks,
Croaking frogs and creepy lizards,
Lying dead in Sweltering noon.
Parched lips and their aching head,
Heart pale as heavy metal.
Let them fly high their plea,
Can't bereft flight their wings,
As the God made them so,
Alas! Compelled in contrary to their nature,
Same abyss lies within men,
Such a Sweltering noon we've here,
Prethee! O'mericiful and benevolent one,
Pour some mercy upon us!!!
