All of Constance Marten and Mark Gordon's first four children were taken into care, a court has heard.

Four people have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Susan Turner in Ayr.

The 41-year-old's body was found a flat in the town's Nursery Hall, at around 10.15am on Monday, 27 March, 2023.

Two men, aged 25 and 49, and two women, aged 40 and 41, have been arrested and charged.

They are due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Thursday, 6 April, 2023.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Detective Chief Inspector Peter Sharp said: "Our thoughts remain with Susan’s family at what continues to be a difficult time for them.

"I would again like to thank the local community for their patience, help and assistance during our investigation and to those who came forward with information."

A 26-year-old woman has died after she was shot in the head as she was out celebrating Christmas with family and friends.

Officers were called to The Lighthouse in near , just before midnight after reports of gunfire.

Four men were also hurt in the incident.

A man has been charged as officers make a second arrest in the Richmond Bridge murder investigation.

Ross Hamilton, 32 (23.08.90) of Wood Lane, Isleworth was charged on Tuesday, 29 November with the of Reece Newcombe and common assault.

Hamilton will appear in custody to Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 30 November.

Police were called at around 04:00hrs on Saturday, 26 November to a fight on Richmond Bridge.

Reece Newcombe, 31, who was from Egham was found at the scene with critical injuries. He died later than morning in hospital.

Hamilton was arrested on Monday, 28 November and was subsequently charged as above.

+ A second male, aged 28, was arrested on Tuesday, 29 November on suspicion of murder. He was taken to a west London police station where he was later bailed to return on a date in early January 2023.

Detectives investigating the murder of Reece Newcombe in Richmond have charged a man.
