Now this is the news we have been waiting for.

90 days till shovels in the ground for Margaritaville!

Yesterday I met with the development team regarding our upcoming Margaritaville resort that is ready to begin construction on their US1 property.

The plan will be reviewed by the Melbourne Planning and Zoning board and then final City Council approval in the next few weeks. Shovels are expected to be in the ground within the next 90 days.

Actually this development already has been moving for over two years clearing easements and approvals from State regulatory agencies. All those hurdles are nearly complete!

I cannot be more happier that the project will have a custom “Space Coast” theme, along with 5 restaurants, nearly 150 rooms, roof top lounge called the Salty Rim, two parking structures with nearly 500 parking stalls, a 12,000 square foot concert yard that can hold 1200 people, a custom floating concert stage, and a boardwalk with over 200 boat slips.

It’s almost “fins up” time!
