I purpose a challenge...
How about we try a little experiment now that the election is over. There are 2 months before any power changes hands. Right now it doesn't make a lick of difference what political sign you have, or the hat you wear for any reason.
How about we not wear our party insignia. We don't wave flags. We don't engage in heretical conversations about what our party or the others are about to do.
We instead spend the next few months socially setting an example of what kind of people we truly are.
Treat everyone just as you would anyone else.
Treat others how you would like to be treated.
Don't spew venom at each other because you read a post, or a celebrity, or politician told you this, and you don't believe this so you're not gonna do this....
There is no point in that behavior at all.
We have to repair the paranoia and fear we have created with each other if we expect any type of acceptance from each other. Before anyone says "I don't care what other people think..." Well if you don't want their acceptance then the opposite reaction would be that you would call on their extinction. It's fine, we all crave acceptance, but the hang up is. NO ONE IS REQUIRED TO BELIEVE WHAT YOU DO, and you have to accept that. Just as I do. What makes you happy in life, is none of my business.
If I say something or do something offensive.. it will never be directed at anyone, so if you are offended by something I do. Please at least ask me if I meant to be offensive, or offensive to you.
If I tell you no, trust that I mean exactly what I say. If you pay attention to my actions, and how I treat others, then you would know that my belief does not affect how I feel about or will treat you.
I live by a code of love until you give me good reason not to... And then I still love you like a brother even if I can't be around you anymore.
But I will never disown, discredit, or discourage anyone about their beliefs... I didn't have any that I cared about until a few years ago.
My number one belief became love everyone despite your differences, because no matter how similar a situation may be to another... No one's circumstances are the same.. in any situation... So love them because you never know what they could be going through, and because it doesn't matter if your belief is the same so long as you treat me and mine kindly and with respect.
And two...
Don't judge anyone for any reason.
It's not my job to judge you, it's not my job to judge anyone.
I believe it's not my place to judge myself, so if I make any negative thoughts towards myself anymore... I hand it off to my higher power upstairs.
Do I care what anyone thinks about my belief there... Not one... I hope that whatever you believe, that you are on a prosperous path, working to be a better you, and have a better life you and yours.
I want you to prosper.
I want us to prosper together no matter you who are, what you believe, what you look like, who you love.
I believe we can do it.
Call me crazy, but this is my revolution.

SPEND THE NEXT TWO MONTHS HIDING YOUR POLITICS, AND JUST TREAT PEOPLE AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED. SHOW THE OTHER PARTY THEY WERE WRONG ABOUT YOU!! SHOW THEM THAT YOU AREN'T HATE MONGERS, N@Z**, PEEDOS, REDRECKS, BRAIN DEAD, IMBRED WHATEVER GENDER/SEXUALITY SLURS, OR WHATEVER NONSENSE EVERYONE HAS BEEN SCREAMING AT EACH OTHER...
