i wrote this essay and abandoned it because it felt too personal for me. i also have continued going back to it every now and then because it feels so raw. there are many times when i’ve been so close to publishing but i’ve had to stop myself because i simply don’t want to show how vulnerable i can be. but then again, sometimes, the gift of writing comes with baring yourself naked. so yea, link in my bio and alladat. i hope it moves something in you.

there are so many stories to be told. and even though i feel vulnerable sharing my work, i know that it’s more important for these stories to come alive.

the day the darkness won. it’s a story of a lady and how an experience traumatized her for life. i’ve posted the first part and if the story gets enough attention, i’d post the second part. link in my bio. hope you enjoy it.
