Conversations with Candidates: Kevin Rinke for Governor
Join us Sunday night just after 8:00pm for our 4th conversation with a gubernatorial candidate - Kevin Rinke!
KEVIN RINKE IS A HUSBAND, FATHER, BUSINESSMAN, LIFELONG MICHIGANDER AND ACCOMPLISHED LEADER.
Kevin learned the value of hard work as a young man in Southeastern Michigan. He started his career working at the family automotive business, picking up trash, cleaning customer restrooms and washing cars. Dedicated to understanding the business from the ground up, Kevin worked his way through every department in the business under the tutelage of the employees and management team.
After graduating from Michigan State in 1983, Kevin joined the family business on a full-time basis. His father’s dream was to have his sons succeed him in the dealerships he created and loved. Unfortunately, in January of 1988, Kevin’s brother and business partner died in an airplane accident, a tragedy that shaped both Kevin’s life and his approach to business.
As the head of the Rinke Automotive Group, Kevin was known for a leadership style that welcomed input from every team member. He considered various perspectives prior to decision-making, encouraging collaboration, and making the right choice the first time.
Under Kevin’s leadership, the Rinke Automotive Group became one of the most successful private dealership groups in the country, providing good-paying jobs and quality healthcare to thousands of Michigan families. He has also been an executive for Penske Automotive and Sonic Automotive, two of the largest publicly traded auto dealerships in the world.
Kevin’s career in business has provided him with a wide range of experience interacting with clients, employees, vendors as well as executives at the highest levels in our country. After years in the automotive industry, he knew the job he set out to do with the Rinke Automotive Group was accomplished and it was time for him to turn his focus to a new mission.
In 2009, Kevin was introduced to Cassell & Associate
Conversation with Candidates: Tudor Dixon for Michigan Governor
Please join us for our next conversation with Michigan Republican candidate for Governor, Tudor Dixon! Tudor is a businesswoman, breast-cancer survivor, and working mom of four girls. She built a career in Michigan's steel industry throughout the early 2000s, leading industrial sales for heavy equipment in the agriculture, automotive, and energy sectors, among others. Quickly a leader in that space, Tudor was highlighted in 2009 at just thirty-one years old as part of "Metalcasting's Next Generation" by trade magazine Foundry Management & Technology and served as Chairwoman of the Steel Founders Society of America's Future Leaders Committee.
Tudor paused her career upon having children and being diagnosed with breast cancer. After beating cancer, Tudor returned to the steel industry briefly before beginning an entrepreneurial journey that led her to conservative media and activism.
As a mom of four young girls with a Bachelor's degree in psychology, Tudor became concerned about the indoctrination of children in our schools. That led her to found Lumen News, which provided pro-America, pro-Constitution morning news programs to grade school students.
As Lumen became more successful, a new conservative network approached Tudor to integrate Lumen's programming into their own. Tudor accepted the offer and transitioned to being "in front of the camera" for the first time. Tudor traveled the country in that role, covering dozens of Trump rallies and other events as COVID took hold.

Conversations with Candidates: Angie Roberts and Deb Frank - school board candidates
Join us as we discuss and expose SEL - Social Emotional Learning - Second Step Curriculum with Angie Roberts and Deb Frank!
Angie Roberts is a wife, mother of 4. She is one of 4 candidates for Watervliet Board of Education this November. She is a jeweler and part owner of her family jewelry business. She and her husband Taylor are Watervliet natives & are proud parents of future panthers; Tallen, Benny, Grant, and Gemma.
Angie began attending her local school board meetings last spring to learn more about what was going on in the schools in regards to COVID policies and how they would affect her children. She found very quickly that there was a lack of listening to the concerned parents. Angie wants to bridge the gap that currently exists between school board members and constituents. She believes that a school board’s responsibility is to make decisions to provide the best education for students and that includes listening to their biggest advocates, the student’s parents. Angie wants to be a voice for the parents in her community and help each child receive a free, quality, equitable public education that is guaranteed to them under Michigan State Law.
Angie holds a BA in Communications & Journalism from Loyola University Chicago.
Deb Frank is very active in her local community. She has served as Hagar Township Trustee, Parks Director, Fireboard, Zoning Board of Appeals, Board of Review, Paw Paw River Coalition, TwinCATS. She has two young children (4 yrs and 8 months) and three young grandchildren (4,6,8).
Deb is running for Coloma School Board to ensure our school is putting parents back in charge of our kids’ education. Deb feels school boards have shown a lack of a decision-making process and are simply ‘rubber-stamping’ decisions made by bureaucrats. Deb is looking for answers to many questions that parents have been asking. Parental rights, funding allocation, school curriculum, disciplinary problems and more.
