Fatherhood is significant to Christians. Having a Father who creates all things and owns all things is the first illustration of true fatherhood. Jehovah is our everlasting Father. He loves his creation. He cares.

On this Fathers Day, let us remember that we are fathers not only to our biological children but also the destitute and orphans.

It is true that the average Christian today prefers the life of self and greed. Everything in their prayer is about them and them alone.

Christ has set the pace for us already. The beatitudes are set standards for a true Christian Life. They are exactly what God wants us to BE...the ATTITUDES of true Christianity.

Intercession therefore is central to the life of a true Christian, and we must respond to this sacred duty.

Lord, may you continue to help us to pray for and be of help to others. Amen.

We are living in times when the Church is witnessing increased persecution and believers seem helpless. The Church has become cold and satanism is on high rise, subjecting Christians to oppressive systems and terrible circumstances.

The need to distract ourselves from the distractions of the world and refocus on God is urgent and remains the only way to eternal peace and prosperity.

Father, help us to remain focused on you and to do your will only.
