Today is Remembrance Day. I am taking today to reflect on those who gave their lives for our country and freedom, but also taking the time to reflect on my time served in the Navy. Today, I’m reminded of what soldiers gave for my country, and I’m forever grateful for their sacrifices.

I may not have served actively on the front line, but I fed those who were, I made friends and memories that I’ll keep in my heart forever. I think back to the fun times I had, yet I can’t forget the mental strain they put on me. I wouldn’t trade my time served for anything.

Lest We Forget those who gave their lives, so I could live mine. 💜
