First and foremost I like to say what an honor it is to be mentioned in an awards show amongst my Chicago peers, This was a big part of my motivation to see days like this, I say peers because we share the same dream for our city. We are establishing an industry, in a city is known for being in the lead in this industry for consumption. This is a chance for us to recognize ourselves and celebrate ourselves, for the work we’ve been doing in this industry. As I go to thru the list of nominees I look at them as siblings, Because I watch them grow I’ve watched the work they been doing in Chicago. I’m proud of each and everyone mentioned. I know the passion it takes the drive, the sacrifice. The hurt, the pain, the emptiness. That’s why this is important. It says we see and recognize each other, if no one else does. We support each other when it’s widely publicize that our city don’t do so. But we got us. We are a family and families stick together wrong or right good times or bad times. This is Big let’s support as so, this is ours.
