~ My favourite past time is creating weekly, monthly and yearly mood boards on Pinterest to plan out my clients feeds as well as my own. I also love to create boards for upcoming trips, home decor ideas and outfits for events we have booked! These are just a few of the things I’ve added to my boards lately … :)

Social media management is something that has enabled me to work from home, make a monthly income and still have more than enough time for myself and my family. I love each and every client that allows me to create for them + have room for a few more in 2024!

-Focusing on the essentials when it comes to my packages and current offerings, no fluff; just the essentials and what is proven to work best
-Trusting my intuition when it comes to work load: when it all becomes too much, slow down, reassess and then proceed with a plan
-Seeking simplicity in my life, both inside and outside of Homebody Media, this has always been at the top of my priority list
-Refine my work, my processes and my offerings until I have created a seamless, simple to understand and easily to maintain business structure
-Reinvent goals, strategies and the way I work with my clientele, take care of them as friends, view their business as my own and consider each step together as if we were friends - in this way I hope to reinvent the client / business owner relationship in a positive way 🤍
-Respect intelligence: when it comes to my own work, what I do best and then also when it comes to my client and their work and what they do best
-Live with purpose… always my day to day goal as I seek to treat people with kindness and respect and make a difference where I can in life 🫶🏻

Starting November 1st I will embark on a new season for Homebody Media! It’s about that time again…
Hi I’m Morgan and it’s so nice to meet you 🤍
Many of you already know this fun fact but for those who do not, here it is! I previously ran my concrete candle business through this page as Cedar and Stone Candle Co. Starting a candle company of my own is where I began dipping into the world of content creation + graphic design. Running my own small business and it’s social platforms grew my overall love for Branding, Social Media and the world of Video and Photo Content Creation!
So here I am today. Helping create one brand at a time, making vision board dreams come true and working alongside some of the beautiful people that have supported me since day one when I was still Cedar + Stone Candle Co. What a whirlwind! I chose to introduce myself today with some fun facts, not only about me but my new business and all that Homebody Media stands for 🥰
1. Homebody Media was named after my love for being at home. My home (also known as the sanctuary of solitude) has brought me more joy and peace than I can explain this past year, even on days when I feel the urge to book a one way ticket to travel the world, I am more often content to be in my home with the ones I love 💓
2. Media. The word that encompasses and confuses all. Media to me, stands for more than content, it stands for videos and photos for editorial pieces, graphics and mind altering captures that draw you in. The Media we create together is so much more than “content creation” or “brand photoshoots” it’s you, your vision and what you represent. It’s YOUR very OWN Media Production!!
3. Create Something Beautiful. This was the slogan I sort of branded alongside Homebody Media and for good reason. I believe in collaboration, collective ideas flowing all at once, brand awareness and connection within our community of beautiful, thoughtful businesses and brand names. Creating something beautiful is not ME creating for you. It’s both of us coming together to imagine up something beautiful, something others can see and connect with. I compare it to the well known saying “it takes a village to raise a child” because it truly takes a community to create something beautiful 🙌🏻
Relatable Sentiment: Feeling a little lost when it comes to social media? 🐴
It’s normal. The overwhelming amount of marketing tactics, social pressures, trends, opinions on when to post, how often and at what times can really get us feeling a little bit like this wandering stallion…
Having someone to bounce ideas off of, relate to and express your wants, needs and goals to can take that pressure OFF you and allow your creativity to FLOW. The world of social media is huge and we’re all trying to navigate it while doing our best to make it work for us. It’s ok to ask for help and it’s ok to need some support along the way 🖤
If you’ve felt like a wandering stallion lately, your not alone. I too feel it from time to time and am HAPPY to express my struggles along with the strategies I’ve created to work my way through them. I’m always here for a little chat 😊
