When making a crucial decision, whether it's business or personal
what is your preference, what characteristic or skills make the ideal candidate, who is your type?
Focusing on relationships for a moment, I surveyed a few people about their choice in marriage and it was interesting some of them said when it came to physical appearance they ended up marrying someone totally different to their "type". Not even that they settled, but they were awakened to someone God presented before them.
This is interesting, because we know that God grants us all our hearts desires according to His will (Psalm 37:4) So the question we should ask including considering our type, when manifesting our Godly spouse is, what is their heart posture, what is their character?
Physical attraction is important.. But don't forget their heart and character matter most....
Rely on the Holy Spirit...
Even the prophet Samuel was about to anoint someone based on their looks but God actually looks more at the heart...
God told him, I've rejected this one... God had someone who was after his own heart..

Happy New Month.
August is the 8th month of the year. Biblically, 8 is the number for new beginnings. A number that represents true circumcision of the heart.
In this month I pray that whatever may be disturbing your heart and affecting your focus from, discouragement, rejection, pain, and worry. May it all be cleared out of your path in Jesus name.
May your heart and mind be renewed and your hope restored as you surrender all to Jesus...
Behold the new thing that God is doing in your life..
Focus on what lies ahead and soar above the storms!

It’s not easy, it’s painful but the end result is fulfilling. God calls us to walk in love towards those so critical of us. It's not always easy but by allowing the Holy Spirit to help us we're able to respond in love in the face of judgment and criticism.
