Way back when, if I had to be honest with myself, I’d say I was a 3 at being kind towards myself and others. That’s right, I was THAT person.

You know the kind – always brutal with my delivery and tone. Not showing any compassion whatsoever.

But then, something shifted. 🔄 I had that oh-so-typical “aha” moment. It was a wake-up call.

I dove deep into therapy and seeking spiritual guidance. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. And then one day, I noticed I started to show myself and others kindness, grace and compassion.

Now, I’d proudly rate myself at a 7 when it comes to showing others who may or may not deserve kindness, compassion or grace. Not to brag, but hey, progress deserves recognition! 🎉

It wasn’t about becoming perfect, but about embracing change and growth. And trust me, if I could turn it around, so can you!

How confident are you with your kindness?
1️⃣-5️⃣ Still struggling, but eager!
6️⃣-8️⃣ Getting there, one day at a time.
9️⃣-🔟 Mastered it and loving the flow!

I get it. There are days when the journey feels more like a never-ending marathon than a sprint.
The finish line? Seemingly elusive.

But remember when you first decided to embark on this path of GREATNESS?
The passion, the fire, the unstoppable determination?

🚀 Let's take a little trip down memory lane:
You started because you believed in YOURSELF. You imagined a world where you had achieved MUCH SUCCESS. You tasted the victory even before setting foot on the track.

📌 But here's a little secret: Greatness isn't just about crossing the finish line; it's about every stumble, pause, and restart along the way.

Essential Reminders:
📍 Every 'fail' teaches something new.
📍 Progress > Perfection, always.
📍 A pause doesn’t mean stop; it's just a brief intermission.

Remember, it's not about how fast you go, but the resilience to keep going. So, whenever the urge to throw in the towel hits, think of the bigger picture. The moments you'll miss if you stop now.

How do you tackle moments of doubt?
🔄 Take a break or
🔥 Push harder?

Last week, I had the pleasure to talk to Eva Moon, Writer about her story.

Here are a few takeaways from that episode! If you haven't heard or watched it already, it's quite a shame if you didn't because it was that damn good!

📚 Eva Moon's novel 'Pinocchio's Guide to the End of the World' explores identity & authenticity.

👩🏻 Eva shares her journey of preventive surgeries and finding purpose ✨

📈 Post-traumatic growth and resilience 💪 are key themes discussed 🎙

After my talk with Eva, that got me thinking about my own identity, my authenticity, and how I show up in person and online. I may have to get the book and read it.

Let me ask you these three questions:

🤔 How does the concept of imposter syndrome intersect with the challenges of maintaining authenticity?

🤔 How do you reconcile the identity you had before the trauma with the person you've become AFTER IT?!

🤔 How can we support others in their journey toward authenticity, especially when they're dealing with profound identity shifts due to trauma?

Go ahead and drop your answer in the comments!
