PINAKAMALAKING VACCINATION SITE SA LAS PIÑAS, MAHIGIT 1,000 ANG NABABAKUNAHAN ARAW-ARAW
Sa operasyon ng The Tent vaccination site sa C-5 extension sa Las Piñas mula nang magsimula noong June 9, mahigit 2,500 na o nasa 800 kada araw ang naitalang naipapabakuna ng suplay ng lokal na pamahalaan nitong June 11.
Pero hindi pa kasama sa bilang ang ilang daang taong binibigyan ng bakuna mula sa pambansang pamahalaan sa pamamagitan ng Las Piñas District Hospital.
Kaya ayon kay Dr. Julie Gonzalez, technical officer at pinuno ng vaccination program ng lungsod, humihigit sa capacity nitong 1,000 katao ang nababakunahan sa mega vaccination site.
Ang The Tent ay ang tinaguriang pinakamalaki sa 17 vaccination site sa Las Piñas na kayang makatanggap ng 800 hanggang 1000 katao kada araw.
Hamon lang aniya para sa malaking vaccination site ang pagsiguro na maayos ang daloy ng bakunahan.
"Medyo challenging siya kasi kailangan on your toes ka to see kung saan may build-up ng tao, ano’ng step ang kailangan mong pabilisin para mag-move,” sabi niya.
"We see na hindi masyadong matagal ‘‘yong from the time na pumasok ang isang pasyente until the time na lumabas siya.”
Problema rin ang pagbagsak ng server ng EZConsult na pinapasukan ng mga impormasyon ng bawat nababakunahan, dahil naiipon ang mga tao at tumatagal ang trabaho.
“‘Pag nagbo-bog down ‘yong ginagamit nating application, system for encoding sa database namin, ‘yon po ang minsang nagiging problema. But we have alternative methods like we have the manual, pwede naman po siya, although much lower lang."
Alas-9 ng umaga pa nakatakdang magsimula ang vaccination sa The Tent noong Biyernes pero bago mag-alas-7 ng umaga nasa 100 tao na ang naghintay para makapasok.
Marami sa kanila ay kasama sa A4 category o mga economic frontliners na sinimulang bakunahan sa Las Pinas noon pang Martes.

Many commuters riding the EDSA carousel buses from PITX had to buy new Beep cards since the trips are cashless starting today.

WATCH: Visual artist Kelly Liwanag animated the transformation of ABS-CBN's logos in its nearly 70-year history, set to the music of #KapamilyaForever. He included the emblems that have symbolized the network's current struggle like the RGB ribbon & hearts.
Liwanag, who has previously drawn comic versions of ABS-CBN personalities inspired by the franchise hearings, said he was spurred to do the video after learning thousands of ABS-CBN workers would be retrenched by August's end.
For him, the news of the retrenchments weighed heavily on his heart.
"I can definitely relate to those who are going to be in between jobs, but have faith in God and just keep on pressing and praying," he said.
"As Desmond Tutu said --" Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.'"

ABS-CBN supporters na-disperse ng pulis

Sabi ng biktima, natulog siya pagkatapos makipag-inuman sa kapitbahay na dinaluhan din ng 17-anyos na suspek. Pero nagising na lang siya na hinahalay siya ng lalaki sa kuwarto niya.
