It’s only taken 5 years of creating content for the algorithm to semi like what I talk about 😂😂😂

I started this journey of talking about what I went through as my own way of intervention and prevention and for the first couple of years didn’t even show my face!!

My content has definitely changed and I have grown so much and confidence and self esteem is completely different to what it once was.

Anddd. Nowwww I FINALLY HAVE THE BLUE TICK OF APPROVAL!

I can’t thank my beautiful family at Indian Ocean ink from the manager Harry Bali who has become not only my in between for me and Kinong my amazing tattooist but Harry has also become my friend, Dr, local guide and just in general an all round genuine person! To kinong my tattooist I will forever be grateful to you for everything you have done for me over the last 2 years!! Indian Ocean ink if you are looking for a private and chilled out space to get tattooed than I highly recommend getting in contact with Harry!

When I came into this recovery 9 years ago, I was introduced to . It is a facilitator lead group, a safe space with no cliques or hierarchy… in smart recovery we were all equals. It’s is where I made the most amazing friend you could ask for! (Nicole. F) we went on to study together and support each other in the early days. I have always said every recovery is different and it is because I have seen with my own eyes people living their best lives free of the addiction that had consumed… no one should ever judge another’s recovery because honestly anything can work! From SMART to NA to AA to counselling to coaching to community groups anything is worth giving a go!

My journey to finding the life I have today took too many rockbottoms to recall and multiple rehab stints… I never gave up! My recovery is very different to most people I know but it is my recovery no one else’s. Today my life leads to the most amazing destinations not just physically but emotionally, spiritually and mentally and I am in a way better head space than I was 9 years ago!

A little while back I decided to claim this beautiful, selfless lady named Mel, as my bestie. We met by chance and our friendship has grown into one I respect and am so grateful to have! From the moment I met you Mel, you have had my back and I will forever have yours!

The best part of creating a new life outside of the world of meth… is finding the most amazing people you could meet! I have been extremely blessed with the friends I have made over the last 9 years… some friendships have ended while others have gone from strength to strength… but for every person I have connected with I will forever be grateful for the adventures had and memories created!

Happy 2 years to our beautiful ! You have come so far over the last 2 years! It was a journey but one I am sure you will agree has been worth it! No more psychosis, no more mental health units, no more trap houses, no more violence… Recovery isn’t easy but you have pushed forward even in your darkest moments. We are so incredibly proud of you Jords and can’t wait to see what the year ahead has in store! 💕🎂👏

James 💕 one of my most favourite people right here! I have always told James that there was something special about him! That there would come a time in his life when he would see that too and that time has come! Seeing James smile and laugh again is something I can’t even describe! All I know is I get happy tears knowing how far he has come!

Wow the last 4 years have flown by!!

I created this social media page after hearing of a young woman going to jail on some pretty heavy charges, to me she seemed like someone who had just gotten caught up in the wrong crowd, someone who felt like she was never good enough but all of a sudden had fallen into a world where nothing mattered anymore, who she was or the expectations set on her.

She reminded me so much of me. I remember sitting there watching the news and saying “fu*k addiction really doesn’t Discriminate”

That night in early Jan 2020, I created the page Addiction Doesn’t Discriminate.

In the hopes of helping people understand addiction but also seeing that we are all capable of recovery and to also try and help young ones not travel the path I did.

Most people who fall into addiction are the most beautiful souls you will ever meet but put dr£gs in their system and all bets are off. It’s doesn’t mean they are bad people they are just making bad choices.

Let’s see what happens over the next four years!

Such a great day for the launch of the Leg Up Project Melbourne founded by the amazing Glen Fisher! All it takes is for the right person to step in at the right time and so many people at the event in Sunbury have definitely been that person for a lot of people!

This was abit freaky but I made this video thinking of Tania and Jo which I often do, they aren’t ever very far from my thoughts. I posted the video then I got a memories notification… 2 years ago on the very same day I made a video about Tania and Jo and how I wish I had more time with them, had I known I was going to have to say good bye I would have made the moments last so much longer! I often talk about signs / messages from the universe this to me was definitely Tan and Jo telling me they are still here with me on this journey through life! The friendships we make in rehab some of them are honestly the best friendships you will ever have but also the hardest when you lose people you love so much #friendship #universe #myangels #love #thankyou
