Help us to

The South African crew who make concerts, festivals, sporting and live events possible, need your assistance. On 5 August between 6pm and 8pm, we will be lighting up buildings, monuments and stages in red as an emergency signal that our industry is in severe distress and we need YOUR help.

The technical production and live events industry have been under level 5 lockdown since 15 March and there is no end in sight!

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

1. If you see any buildings lit in red on 5 August, please take a photo, share it on your social media platform and remember to tag us at .
2. If you are able to, light your own home / garden / wall in red and share on your own social media platform, take a photo, share and remember to include .
3. Red Gel is available free of charge at DWR Distribution. Call them at 011 794 5023 or visit the offices at Block C, Unit 1, Kimbult Industrial Park, 9 Zeiss Street, Laserpark, Honeydew.
4. Share one of your favourite photos from a concert, show, festival or live sporting event and include on your social media pages.
5. Visit our website at www.lightsared.org.za to see which buildings will be lit in red and to find out more about our campaign.

Went to Pakistan to cover PSL cricket for GRAVITY MEDIA in February and March. Great GRAVITY team Jeff, Werner, Nubs and Paul on the ground and Thea, Ollie and John along with the rest of the guys around the world supporting us and the ever changing goals however we pulled it off without a hitch.

Worked on an hopefully still ongoing I'm a Celebrity Australia this was season 6. Started in December and Finished in February 2020.
My client was Gravity Media providing equipment and systems for ITV Australia and Network 10 Australia. Long job but mad easier with great people.
