⚠️🌁SKY AWARE WEATHER ALERT🌁⚠️ A DENSE FOG ADVISORY is in effect until 9am CDT Sunday for the following counties in WISCONSIN: Price, Taylor, Clark, Trempealeau, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe, Juneau, Adams, Vernon, Crawford, Richland and Sauk. And in MINNESOTA: Winona, Fillmore and Houston. And in IOWA: Allamakee and Winneshiek. There is also another one in effect until 10am CDT Sunday for the following counties in ILLINOIS: Jo Daviess, Stephenson and Carroll. Visibility will be one quarter mile or less in dense fog. Remember, low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. So if you are driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

⚠️🥵SKY AWARE WEATHER ALERT🥵⚠️ AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH is in effect for Clark and far southern Nye Counties in NEVADA from 10:00a.m PDT Wednesday to 9:00p.m PDT Thursday. Dangerously hot conditions for this early in June. High temperatures 106 to 111° for Las Vegas, Pahrump, Barstow and Morongo Valley. 108 to 113° for Mesquite, Overton, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Bullhead City and Lake Havasu City. 102 to 108° for Kingman, Yucca and Wikieup. 113 to 118° for Death Valley National Park. Heat-Related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. Remember to drink plenty of water and find shade if you are outdoors. At 7:53pm, a severe thunderstorm was located near Wenona, or near Streator, moving southeast at 40 mph. Hazards are 60 mph wind gusts and quarter sized hail. At 7:20pm, a severe thunderstorm was located over Hennepin, moving southeast at 45 mph. Hazards are 60 mph wind gusts and quarter sized hail. 🚨SEVERE WEATHER OUTBREAK ONCE AGAIN🚨 A PDS TORNADO WATCH (pds meaning a particularly dangerous situation) has been issued for portions of Southern Illinois, Southern Missouri, Northern Arkansas, Northwestern Tennessee, Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana until late tonight. Locations in this watch include from Neosho MO to St. Louis MO over to Vincennes IN then to Louisville KY down to Albany KY over to Murray KY down to Camden TN back over to Hunstville AR. This includes major cities such as Springfield MO, Jonesboro AR, St. Louis MO, Evansville IN and Louisville KY. If you know anybody in this warning, please let them know to pay attention to all active alerts for their area and to take proper action when needed. Stay safe everyone!!

⚠️🚨SKY AWARE WEATHER ALERT ⚠️ 🚨 A TORNADO WARNING (in red) and a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING (in orange) is in for Lake and McHenry Counties in Illinois until 715p.m for the tornado warning and 730p.m. for the severe thunderstorm warning. At 631p.m, a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes was located along a line extending from near Spring Grove to near Prairie Grove, moving east at 30 mph. Locations impacted in the tornado warning include McHenry, Spring Grove, Fox Lake, Lakemoor, Round Lake Beach, Wauconda, Antioch, Lindenhurst, Grayslake, Mundelein, Libertyville, Wadsworth, Gurnee, Lake Forest, North Chicago, Waukegan, Branch Park, Zion and Winthrop Harbor. I would like everyone to look at the red dashed line, if you fall in that red dash line please keep a lookout on the weather tomorrow you are in the area most favored for strong tornadoes. Otherwise our viewing areas cover a level 1 two three and four risk for severe weather. Stay tuned here for weather updates

Severe thunderstorms are expected Tuesday afternoon and evening across parts of the Midwest. Large to very hail and strong tornado are possible with initially more discrete storms, while severe gusts, possibly in excess of 75 mph, will become more likely later in the evening.

WE HAVE SNOW IN THE FORECAST: there's a potential for some snowfall Wednesday night, If you live between Minneapolis and Stewartville MN or between Eau Claire and La Crosse WI, you are looking in anywhere from a trace to 1 in of snow. If you live in LaCrosse Wisconsin down to the furthest south of our viewing area, you were looking at one to three inches of snow. Full map is below

Tuesday update: It still looks like the highest chance of a couple inches of snow on Wednesday night will be south of Marathon county.

CHIPPEWA COUNTY WI ALERT: The Chippewa County Board will be holding a board meeting tonight at 6pm to discuss the possibility of adding more security to the Chippewa County Courthouse building. Read what they want to do in the link below.

The issue of enhancing security became a concern after an incident happened last May when a Minnesota man made threats to the courthouse.

PRELIMINARY NWS TORNADO DAMAGE SURVEY: two tornadoes have been confirmed in southern Wisconsin. They affected Green and Rock Counties. The first one, was rated an ef1 with estimated peak wind gusts of 110 mph. A path length of 8.3 Mi and a Max width of 50 yards. It started just north of Juda and lifted northwest of Brodhead or southeast of Albany. The second tornado, was rated an ef2 with estimated peak wind gusts of 135 mph. A path length of 24.53 miles and a Max width of 500 yards. It started in southern and southeastern Evansville, then went northwest of Fulton, just missed Edgerton to the northwest, hit Albion head on, crossed over interstate 39/90 near the highway 51 exit, then ended up lifting south of Oakland or just north of Lake Koshkonong.

They announced that they have hired Mike Sanders, a healthcare executive to lead the effort to develop a plan to create an independent community hospital right here in the Chippewa valley.

HOSPITAL SHUT DOWN UPDATE: HSHS has been sued by the Chippewa valley orthopedics and sports medicine. For full information, click the link below, however, they're attempting to keep HSHS locations in both Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls open until at least July 21st of 2024, they also argue that they were not given their contractionally agreed 180 days of relationship ending also.

Chippewa Valley Orthopedics and Sports Medicine filed an injunction in Eau Claire County Court.

Again, no travel whatsoever in southern Wisconsin on interstate 39/90, between the cities of Madison and Janesville.
